The host was great, super helpful and attentive. We went the night before our visit to the Yala National Park. He helped us organised a tour and made breakfasts for us on the day. He also gave us binoculars and spoke to us about what to expect at the Park - he was very knowledgable. The tour guide was also good but I would recommend considering other options too if you want.

The property manager was very helpful prior to our arrival. Arranged transport for us with a local company at reasonable rates and with a good driver. There aren't really any restaurants near the accommodation so it is worth booking the BBQ with them, for Sri Lankan prices it was quite expensive but for most tourists it will be relatively cheap, The pool was lovely.

The house was immaculate. The food was the best cooked meals we have had while in Sri Lanka. Udara's Mother &;Auntie are super cooks. They made special dishes for us on our last evening. Extremely friendly family. The facilities were top notch and very clean.

These homes are furnished and equipped with kitchen facilities for self-catering, although breakfast may be offered as an add-on. These properties have their own independent front door, which makes them different to apartments.
This is one of our favorite place in Sri Lanka . Super friendly staff . They offer Tasty food. Room is very clean. They organized our safari . It was fantastic. We saw 2 leopard and so many animals. Highly recommended.
The owner Priya is an amazing host! He's super friendly and funny. He picked us up from the bus stop, welcomed us and in the evening gave a (free) tour of Lake Tissa, where he could tell us a lot about all the different kind of birds/animals we saw there! Next day we went on an awesome safari for a reasonable price, and saw a lot of wildlife!! Room was very clean and nice, great food. Would 100% recommend this place!
Janaka hotel was absolutely impeccable. We had a very clean room. At the same time, there was wonderful food and a beautiful pool that was available for everyone to use. The pool was clean, as was the room when we arrived. The organization was also very, very good, as Janaka and his family provided us with dinner in the evening and then explained the schedule for the next day. Our safari, which started at 5:30 AM, was an absolute dream. We would book here again anytime. Thank you for everything.

Very clean - the safari arranged by the owner was very good - great pool - staff very attentive and diligent - beautiful garden - Location on the edge of the city was good for us, we had rented a tuktuk ourselves and were therefore mobile.
