This is the first time I’ve given a 10 rating to an accommodation because of its exceptional services and one-of-a-kind experiences. It’s an old house with modern conveniences, and you can tell the host has done an excellent job selecting the right wooden floors, tiles, and other construction materials to match the history of this beautiful home. The bathtubs on the 1st and 2nd floors are fantastic, making us feel like we were staying in an onsen hotel. The location is also perfect—only two stations away from Kyoto Station and within walking distance to Gion. Overall, I’m so glad I chose this place. Such a wonderful memory!

It was an amazing property and furnished very nice. We enjoyed the rooms, bathroom, living room, pyjamas ( haha ) and eveything. If we return to Kyoto, we will not stay at any other place. Rinn Tsukimowa impressed us very much ! It is a high quality place. I highly recommend!

Nicely maintained property in the central of Kyoto which is close to major sight seeing places. Very clean and enough space for family of 4, with young kids. And host was waiting for us greeting with a little gift. Will definitely come back to this property if travelling to Kyoto again.

It was a very spacious and well-equipped place with a small garden and traditional and western furnishings.The hotel is on a quiet street near a subway station and in walking distance of the Imperial Palace and Nijo Castle. Check if the location works for you.The hostess was very helpful.
