Absolutely loved the character and charm of the hotel, the facilities, the lounge area for breakfast/evening drinks, ease of use of the washer/dryer that was there. The hotel was in a quiet residential section of Kyoto, yet access to Nijo Castle, the Imperial Palace and downtown Kyoto was very easy and within a 15 minute walk. Access to the train stations and Uber/Taxi's were equally easy. Amazing local restaurants within walking distance of the Hotel - highly recommend Daigan around the corner for an amazing sushi with an engaging/entertaining/welcoming chef.

The air-conditioned villa consists of 2 bedrooms, a living room, a fully equipped kitchen with a microwave and a kettle, and 1 bathroom with a bidet and slippers. Towels and bed linen are available in the villa. The accommodation is non-smoking. The property was spacious and had all the amenities we needed as a family. It was clean and tidy and secure. The staff cleaning and looking after the property were friendly and very helpful. We had a problem with the AC and they sorted it out immediately.

Basically, everything about this property, it's in a good location centrally to some of Kyoto's most famous landmarks. Staff were beyond pleasant and easy to deal with. The property is amazing (unfortunately, my wife wants me to recreate something similar in Australia 🤣). I couldn't recommend it highly enough, would 10/10 rebook this property.

Two different station are very close, walking distance from the house, as well as delicious restaurants. The house itself is very comfotable, amazing, suprising :) cozy, definetly worth to go back again! Everything what you need is right there! Kioto is a beautiful town, must see in Japan! The place was absolutely beautiful would highly recommend it for anyone coming to visit kyoto

Kyoisuke offers accommodation within 700 metres of the centre of Kyoto, with free WiFi, and a kitchenette with a dishwasher, an oven and a microwave. There is a private entrance at the holiday home for the convenience of those who stay. Guests can enjoy garden views. Everything! The house was very traditional but had modern amenities (they even included a washing machine and a hair straightener!), the staff were all super kind and the food (breakfast and dinner) were both delicious true japanese meals. There were two onsen in our room (one inside and one outside) so you could choose which one you preferred depending on the temperature. The ryokan’s location was walking distance to the centre, while there were bars / restaurants / convenience stores nearby where you could pick up anything you wanted. Still, when inside the house you felt as if you were in a very quiet neighborhood - far away from the noise of the city centre. The hotel also offers to help ship your luggage to your next location.

Set in a building with a garden, Inari Ohan is a renovated traditional Japanese-style holiday home located in Kyoto that provides free WiFi. Fushimi Inari Taisha Shrine is 9 minutes on foot, while Fukakusa Station and JR Inari Station are within a 5-minute walk. Loved our stay. The apartment was beautiful incorporating many features of a traditional Japanese house and very spacious for our family of 3. The bath tub overlooking the small garden was beautifully designed and a highlight of the property. The coffee shop (and reception) next door was also fantastic! The property was close to Fushimi Inari Shrine and train station which allowed easy travel to the city and the Gion district. Great communication and seamless check in and check out. Very clean. We stayed in another house in the apartment block and checked into this one later during the week of our stay in Kyoto (couldn’t book the full 5 days in either apartment as they were full). The transition across was seamless and the staff super helpful. The booklet in the house outlining how to use appliances and essential tips (train station, restaurants and convenience stores) was also very helpful. Washing machine and laundry liquid was soooo welcome!!!! Very happy with our stay.
