The toilet was also very big and equipped with a very innovative shower system. Although a bit isolated, this is absolutely not a problem because it's easy to rent a scooter. Also there are a lot of very beautiful trails starting nearby and local guides are available all around. The owner helped us buy buy tickets to Hanoi for a very price and with a serious company. Thanks again for the memorable staying!

At the guest house, the family-friendly restaurant is open for dinner, lunch and brunch and serves Japanese cuisine. First of all, I really liked the manager, Ha! She was incredibly accommodating from the start, maintaining great communication via WhatsApp and even helping with heavy luggage. She kindly allowed me to check in early at 5:30 AM since a room was available—thank you, Ha! She was also a great help in booking a motorcycle and recommending places to eat. The salt cream coffee was the best I've had, not just in the hotel but throughout my entire trip in Vietnam—so good! The breakfast options were acceptable, with choices like pancakes, bread, noodles with egg, and French toast, all served with coffee. The room was excellent, offering a good view, with fresh towels and a comfortable bed. The AC worked well, and the toiletries were well provided. The wooden floor and ceiling added a nice touch, and drinking water was readily available. The hotel itself is spacious, with plenty of seating and a very Instagrammable aesthetic. The family and staff were also hospitable.

At the guest house, all units are soundproof. The room and bathroom were comfortable and clean and the hot shower was amazing! The host family were so kind and friendly and let me stay an extra night fairly last minute in a bigger room at the same cost of my previous room which was really nice of them! The location was good too! Not too close to the rest of town which made it a more peaceful place to stay.

At the guest house, some units are allergy-free. Moc’s House was a rural oasis after the chaos of Hanoi. The proprietor, Huong, was wonderfully welcoming and an excellent host. We loved the room, the setting and the hospitality. Huong was very comfortable with Google Translate and was happy to accommodate us in any way. The place was spotless, the heater worked well and there was ample hot water for showers. The view over the valley was lovely. The setting would be even more delightful in warmer weather when the beautiful decks could be put to good use. It is a 20-25 minute walk into town (Sunday market).
