WG Creole House 1850 is located in the Central City district of New Orleans, 800 metres from Union Station, 1.3 km from Morial Convention Center and 1.7 km from Caesars Superdome. With water sports facilities, the 3-star guest house has air-conditioned rooms with free WiFi. Audubon Nature Institute is 7.3 km away and Rivertown is 19 km from the guest house. I didn't have breakfast as I don't think breakfast was included. I did make myself a couple cups of tea in the kitchen/dining area. I think you could have used some of your own food in that facility. This is a wonderful place to stay. Most highly recommended. I would definitely try to book it if I were to visit New Orleans again. It is walkable from the train station although Google Maps does not provide the best route for getting there.

Everything was amazing. Chris and MaryAnn were so helpful, and the room was lovely and very comfortable. We loved the decor and enjoyed the beautiful back garden area. We would highly recommend this Inn for a stay in New Orleans.

The Property was exactly as described. A place full of character with everything you need. Lore the history greeted us and gave some good advice a local coffee suggestions. We walked during the day time to the French Quarter and beyond. We got an Uber back at night.

3 night stay for 5 people. Great location, secure and quiet building. Decorated well with comfortable beds. Extra toiletries and supplies provided if required. Nice little bar/cafe on the ground floor. Area felt safe to walk around.

A great location (walk to everything) with extremely helpful and friendly staff. Our room was on the pet floor, and there was a barking dog during the day. Since I had booked an extremely good d4eal online, I was Ok with this. The dog was quiet in evenings once owners returned. The room was beautiful.

I think the criticism of this hotel is unfair. I nearly cancelled after reading some of the reviews. I’m glad I didn’t. This hotel is charming and billed as a 2 star so don’t expect luxury but it’s a quaint historic property in a great location at one end of Frenchman street. That means it is right in the midst of great bars, cafes and breakfasts. But we had a room set back off the street on the inner courtyard and didn’t experience any of the noise that other guests have complained about. Staff were lovely.
Brent is an amazing host - very welcoming, helpful & cooks a delicious breakfast. Beautiful guest house in a great location with free parking & very easy access to French Quarter etc via streetcar which is a few minutes walk away & costs only $3 for a 24 hour pass. Brent also booked 2 excursions for us. A real home from home.
Our last visit was six years ago and we were very impressed with the remodeling of the hotel done three years ago. We choose the Pelham because of its value and great location; on a quieter street, but close enough to everything to easily walk. Also, it is a smaller hotel so you don't have to be held hostage waiting for the elevator on a 20 storey hotel.
A beautiful home decorated to a high standard with lots of interesting features and dining area lounge to relax and read a book. Beautiful veranda out front to sit and have a cuppa. A quiet area and 20 minute walk to the French Quarter. Katie is a great host with lots of stories of the area and places to visit. Also does an amazing breakfast endless pastries and bacon and eggs and beverages just delightful. Highly recommend this wonderful home and Katie's hospitality.
