The house is lovely, a typical creole house and the decor, with attention to every detail contributes to the pleasure of your stay.
It's not far from the city center, which can easily be reached with trolley and buses, and nearby there is the artistic district.
Melissa is amazing, and a great singer!
My suggestion is to improve the room lightening.
Thank you!

Nice small apartment, close to French Quarter. You can walk to Bourbon Street in about 15 minutes during the day through Louis Armstrong Park, which closes at 7 in summer. An Uber back will only cost you about 7-12$.
Very nice host who answers quickly if you have any questions.
Featuring city views, The Dragonfly Treme Guest House provides accommodation with patio, around 3.2 km from Caesars Superdome.

This place is exceptional it exceeded all expectations. The house is beautiful with everything and more you could need. Braedon was fantastic very responsive to any queries we had and gave great recommendations. The back garden was a bonus with the pool and BBQ and we were visited each evening by a fury cat friend. Would 100% recommend and if I was going back I would stay here again.

Good value for money, fine location and friendly and helpful staff
Warm and welcoming guest houses are ideal for travellers who prefer unfussy accommodation with a personal touch. They are usually family-run, and your host will provide local recommendations and optional meals. Often cheaper than regular hotels, guest houses can also feature a cosy living room and a garden.
Well maintained, clean and comfortable house in a great location, close enough to the city's main attractions in the French Quarter (all within walking distance) yet very peaceful and quiet with some nice neighbourhood cafés in the area.
Check in process with the host was swift and easy. Highly recommended in New Orleans
I think the criticism of this hotel is unfair. I nearly cancelled after reading some of the reviews. I’m glad I didn’t. This hotel is charming and billed as a 2 star so don’t expect luxury but it’s a quaint historic property in a great location at one end of Frenchman street. That means it is right in the midst of great bars, cafes and breakfasts. But we had a room set back off the street on the inner courtyard and didn’t experience any of the noise that other guests have complained about. Staff were lovely.
Great hostel. Modern and spacious rooms (4 bed dorm) with washroom that had toilet and shower, plus sink in dorm room. Friendly and mostly efficient staff. Good lounge with daily happy hour for cheap beer. Only open to travellers, not for locals.
Brent is an amazing host - very welcoming, helpful & cooks a delicious breakfast. Beautiful guest house in a great location with free parking & very easy access to French Quarter etc via streetcar which is a few minutes walk away & costs only $3 for a 24 hour pass. Brent also booked 2 excursions for us. A real home from home.
Our last visit was six years ago and we were very impressed with the remodeling of the hotel done three years ago. We choose the Pelham because of its value and great location; on a quieter street, but close enough to everything to easily walk. Also, it is a smaller hotel so you don't have to be held hostage waiting for the elevator on a 20 storey hotel.
A beautiful home decorated to a high standard with lots of interesting features and dining area lounge to relax and read a book. Beautiful veranda out front to sit and have a cuppa. A quiet area and 20 minute walk to the French Quarter. Katie is a great host with lots of stories of the area and places to visit. Also does an amazing breakfast endless pastries and bacon and eggs and beverages just delightful. Highly recommend this wonderful home and Katie's hospitality.
