Mahana House exceeded any expectations we had. Not only were we welcomed by many friendly felines but the property and room were phenomenal. Any questions we had were answered very quickly and anything we needed was fully provided. The property was beautiful and the rooms were amazing. We were able to leave everything unlocked when we left for our adventures for the day without feeling like anything would happen to our stuff. Coqui frogs were very vocal but such an amazing sound to go to sleep to at night. Will always stay here when headed back to the Hilo side of the Big Island again
Volcano
Aloha Junction Guest House invites you to join them as well as many other guests from around the world who have visited here for over 20 years. It’s conveniently located just 1 mile from the Hawaii Volcanoes National Park entrance. It is also located in the heart of the Volcano Village where you’ll find a great assortment of restaurants, bars, gas stations, farmers market and Art Center ~ all within walking distance. The room was equiped with elegant furnitures and hevenly soft bed, so we slept well at night. In the morning, the pancake cooked by Robert was amazing. Also we enjoyed convasation with the other visiters there.

The location is excellent. The host is very friendly and the room is superb. It's very comfortable and clean and beautifully decorated which makes us feel like home The backyard is beautiful. The host is very thoughtful and provides complementary snacks.

From the very first minute we felt like at home. It's a real blessing. Kelly is a great host and wants to make your stay unforgettable. Great location close to town with beautiful sunset views. The place has all the amenities one could want in a condo. Workout room is limited so if one really wants to workout, consider a nearby gym. Curtains in living room only covered half of the sliding glass door, which did not allow for privacy at night which is my only complaint. Other than than, wonderful place. It was quiet and cozy and the host was available for any questions.
location of the hostel was very accessible, It was quiet and we felt really safe walking around the area. Our flight was delayed to Honolulu so we missed out on two days of our stay, however, the staff was very understanding and did not cancel our reservation. We were already so stressed being stuck in Sydney, but the helpfulness of the hostel helped relive that. We are so grateful. The tours they organise too, are so sick! very organised, fun and cheap. A great Homestay in a quiet, starkly beautiful landscape. Troy is a great host, provides excellent local knowledge and facilities to enjoy your time exploring the Big Island. The location was a great base to get around the whole Island.
