Also the balcony was a big plus and nice to hear the ocean sound. Check-in was flexible and easy, which is something we appreciated as we arrived rather late that night. Andy is a very welcoming host, he gave us tips on the area and explained to us how to use the washing machine etc. Would recommend this place !!
North Hilo

All rooms at the inn are equipped with a seating area. Featuring a private bathroom with a shower and a hairdryer, rooms at Kilauea Lodge and Restaurant also offer free WiFi, while selected rooms are fitted with a balcony. Guest rooms will provide guests with a fridge. Breakfast was great and we had a beautiful window view seat.

From the very first minute we felt like at home. It's a real blessing. Kelly is a great host and wants to make your stay unforgettable. Great location close to town with beautiful sunset views. The place has all the amenities one could want in a condo. Workout room is limited so if one really wants to workout, consider a nearby gym. Curtains in living room only covered half of the sliding glass door, which did not allow for privacy at night which is my only complaint. Other than than, wonderful place. It was quiet and cozy and the host was available for any questions.
location of the hostel was very accessible, It was quiet and we felt really safe walking around the area. Our flight was delayed to Honolulu so we missed out on two days of our stay, however, the staff was very understanding and did not cancel our reservation. We were already so stressed being stuck in Sydney, but the helpfulness of the hostel helped relive that. We are so grateful. The tours they organise too, are so sick! very organised, fun and cheap. We met some amazing people
A great Homestay in a quiet, starkly beautiful landscape. Troy is a great host, provides excellent local knowledge and facilities to enjoy your time exploring the Big Island. The location was a great base to get around the whole Island.
