Wonderful and charming hosts! Very pleasant accommodation on second floor of a home. High on a hill in a quiet suburban neighborhood less than 5 miles from downtown Kona. Balcony offers stunning views and lovely landscaping makes you feel you are in a tropical treehouse. Lots of thoughtful touches in the room, which includes a walk in closet. For those with a car, this is a 5 star value as a base to explore what the Big Island has to offer.

Nanette was so kind and helpful. She went out of her way to help me with a problem that I caused. I accidentally ran through the sliding screen door and messed it up while trying to quickly answer the knocking on my door. I was on the lanai and she (Nanette) was coming by to greet me and welcome me. Anyway, she measured the door, went to several places to find a door that would fit. I loved the coolness at night at the 1,620 feet or so of elevation that Bear’s Placeis located. It is in a convenient location to many of the best beaches and other entertainment venues. It is also close to the airport and Kona. The parking lot was easy in- easy out! The instructions that were given were perfect. There is so much privacy here. I know there were others who stayed here while I did but I never saw anyone. The lanai was huge and comfortable. Also having beach chairs and cooler to put a sandwich and drinks in came in really helpful!! I didn’t know they even had beach towels as well, so I bought one. If you can’t relax here then you can’t relax anywhere! I loved the sounds of nature also! You don’t need AC with the cross wind and ceiling fan.

Great location. Very close to the beach and restaurants. The apartment was very clean and comfortable. Our apartmenr was off the main road so lovely and quiet. We enjoyed using the pool and spa.

It was as expected: honest and essential, but comfortable.
There was breakfast (coffee and cereal bars) with fresh fruits. The staff is very friendly. I like the location and they were very clear about the directions, which were provided by email.
Many Uber and Lift may complain about carrying you up there. Just be aware and ask the host about some trusted taxi contact
The house is giant! Well decorated, clean, quiet, amazing view, everything was perfect.

Great location close to town with beautiful sunset views. The place has all the amenities one could want in a condo. Workout room is limited so if one really wants to workout, consider a nearby gym. Curtains in living room only covered half of the sliding glass door, which did not allow for privacy at night which is my only complaint. Other than than, wonderful place. It was quiet and cozy and the host was available for any questions.
Perfect spot, quiet place, great location. The pool is fantastic. The apartment have everything you need. Indar is a great host and will always make sure you are okay. We would come back Anytime and we can really recommend this place.
