All rooms at the inn are fitted with a seating area. Rooms are complete with a private bathroom fitted with a shower and free toiletries, while some units at Chokoro House also feature a terrace. At the accommodation the rooms are fitted with bed linen and towels. We absolutely loved our stay here! The people we kind and helpful, the accomodation included everything we needed, and so much thought was put into the little things: flowers in the room, universal adaptors for power, towels folded into cool shapes, coffee and tea provided with a kettle, two bottles of water to brush our teeth, etc. The breakfast was also fantastic and included a variety of local foods that changed every day. The breakfast include some protein (usually eggs), some local breads, some vegetables, some juice, some local fruits and coffee or tea. We felt so at home here and We were also in walking distance of local restaurants, souvenir stores and the beach. Couldn’t be happier with our decision to stay here!

This property offers access to a terrace and free private parking. The guest house provides garden views, an outdoor fireplace and a 24-hour front desk. Very nice and clean room in a nice house. And Victor so friendly and helpful. Plenty, tasty breakfast. As we like to stay away from the beaches and prefer walking it is no issue that the property is situated a bit away, along the main road.Not very much sounds from the trafic.

Trevor was an amazing host and took his time to show me around Zanzibar and teach me some of the local lingo. I really enjoyed my stay at Gecko house.

If you need something he was all time helpfull. I can just recomended this villa. We come back for sure when are in Zanzibar.
