The location is perfect, the hosts are wonderful, and the room itself was so nice. It’s located right on the water in San Juan where you can do some snorkeling (pretty much guaranteed to see sea turtles here) or walk along the beach next door. The hosts are very kind, warm and attentive (also flexible if plans change). They provide a simple, but delicious, breakfast every morning. They are always available making sure your stay is comfortable. The room was cute and quaint with a wonderful view, of course. It was just so relaxing to be here listening to the waves during the quiet nights. It’s located away from the main road so it’s very quiet during the day, too. Highly recommend this place. P.S. - Go to Laine’s Massage. It’s a short walk away from this property; right next to the big resort next door (Coco something) - you’ll know which one it is. It feels a little seedy, but the massages were great. I believe she just started the business, if I understood her correctly, so she would be very grateful for your support.

Situated in Moalboal, Bernis Hostel features accommodation with private pool, free WiFi and free private parking for guests who drive. This recently renovated guest house is located 300 metres from Basdiot Beach and less than 1 km from Panagsama Beach. When staying at the guest house, guests can use private entrance. Cannot recommend this place enough. The property is very clean. The pool is big and provides a nice cool dip in the sun! What makes the stay so special is Janice! She helped us to book any trips, renting motorbikes and any other transportation. All the staff go above and beyond to help their guests!

Boasting family rooms, this property also provides guests with a barbecue. I’ve stayed in various properties in Siquijor and White Bada is BY FAR the best. JP and Kim, the owners make you feel so welcome, I can’t recommend this place highly enough.

Amigos Dauin Hostel, a property with a shared lounge, is located in Dauin, 13 km from Robinsons Place Dumaguete, 14 km from Dumaguete Belfry, as well as 14 km from Quezon Park. This is a VERY nice accommodation, it certainly exceeded our expectations! Comfortable mattress, high quality bedsheets and towels (comparable to those found in 4* hotels) and TV with Netflix for those evenings where you just want to chill after a long day in the heat! Not only is the room equipped with the essentials like a safety box, but is also has a mini fridge, an alarm clock, vanity kit, oh and yes, even blackout curtains for a very restful sleep! The manager was super nice and offered some great tips; he also helped us buy boat tickets and arranged for last minute transportation to the port. Location is convenient, a short walk to the beach, ATM and a few local bars and restaurants. Amazing value!!
