Nice rooms/beds and friendly staff. Ac was ok, just older with no remote control. Can get hot in the early morning with the sun hitting into the room. Especially in a top bunk. Kitchen was ok, outdoors but everything was covered and organized.

Miki and her cousin Jayboy are authentic, friendly hosts who go the extra 1.61 kms to ensure guests enjoy their stay on Siquijor Island. They rented us a great motorbike and helped us return to the port. The air conditioner worked well. The wifi was more than sufficiently fast for our needs. It was nice to have a porch to sit on.

Our experience was a little bit different than other reviews. We booked the day before but when we arrived only the host’s young daughter was there as it turned out she didn’t see the reservation and still needed the room to be cleaned.
Otherwise it’s a nice quiet place with beautiful garden. Breakfast was okay.
Recommend to rent a scooter to get there
Great location for taking the ferry, with very accommodating hosts that will prepare breakfast extra early if needed! Comfortable rooms with a nice hammock to chill in!
La Villa Alta is located in an amazing secluded spot at the top of the island with a lovely small beach out front. The food is cheap and delicious!
The staff really made the stay, everyone is so friendly and accommodating. We were even invited to the local village party by the host which was an amazing experience!
Bikes can be rented from the property as well which is the best way to see the island.
For the price of the stay we could not complain about anything!
Ed and Rachel were great hosts and made us feel at home, we enjoyed chatting to them and hearing their top tips! The room was beautifully decorated and met all of our needs. The breakfast was delicious. The location is perfect, only a short scooter ride from San Juan, in a quiet neighbourhood. Ed also went out of his way to help us when we needed him!
The host Neneh was amazing and so kind. She made our trip memorable. There is a private walkway to the beach from your front door which is absolutely beautiful in the morning and at sunset. Location was great, cold drinks in the fridge for cheap, good air conditioning, you can rent scooter from guesthouse, good WiFi. Nenehs son drove us to our next accommodation who was also very kind and happy.
Neneh’s personality would brighten anyone’s day 😊. I would highly recommend this place and wish we could have stayed longer.

Literally brilliant for everything. Amazing staff, really comfy bed and super spacious. 2 different types of plugs. Lovely strong, hot showers and clean toilets. Nice chill space to socialise. Good restaurant attached that serves delicious and cheap food. Rent a scooter here and they send you a list of all the things to do in the area.

really loved this place , very homely, great location , host offers cheap motorbike to explore the island, very informative and kind host who sorted everything including our transport to and from the ferry ports. would 100% stay longer next time.
great location and very nice hosts. access to kitchen and water all the time. on site you can rent a scooter cheaply from the hosts and get directions. normal room, just to sleep. for this price it's worth it.
