We loved it! Great place, right on the water. Free kayaks were good for snorkling trips in the lagoon. The room was great. Tea is a very nice and helpful host, and the lagoon tour with Alex was awesome. Highly recommend!

It was not cheap, but for what we had, it was great value for money, and certainly competitively priced. We had the whole house to ourselves, but it's ideal for a group of 6. Sharks and rays swim close to the shore, just below the terrace, and there's plenty of good coral in that lagoon. Absolutely spellbinding view from the upstairs room (we didn't go into the downstairs rooms). People running it are so lovely. Helpful, welcoming, happy to share their company. Florence is charming and a great cook.She will make you a 3 course meal for the price of a starter elsewhere. Sylvian and Pierre great company too, and so helpful.

It is challenging to stay here without a car, but certainly possible, at least for a couple of days. I liked the camp cabin accommodations. The value for a full kitchen and the number of people who could stay in the cabin comfortably was exceptional. The other guests were friendly, but respectful and quiet on the property when it was night. The option to rent kayaks, surfboards and snorkel gear at a reasonable price is wonderful! There are good food and grocery options within walking distance. We would definitely stay again!

It was unique, and colorful, and exactly what a traveling surfer should be hoping to find. The owners were exciting, enthusiastic people, and seemed like they would do anything to make your experience better. They did for us. I hope many others get to experience this place for years to come.

We loved the uniqueness of the property, the craftsmanship of the home abd facilities. It was really clean and tidy on arrival. The meshed windows really helped keep the mozzies away. We loved the vibe but especially loved the environment created by Mark and his family. They are truly special, generous, kind, and hospitable people.

My daughter stayed with host Murielle for three nights and four days and her hospitality was truly exceptional! She experienced the real Moorea & French Polynesian culture of kindness, care and hospitality from Murielle and other local people. Staying at Fare Mihimana was a pleasure, being able to rest and relax in a beautifully furnished guestroom with everything you need, and it was nestled in a tropical garden paradise. Murielle gave some fruits growing in her garden to eat in a fruit bowl on the dining table. Fare Mihimana is located within a short walking distance of the ferry dock at Vai'are which is so handy with lots of services, shops, supermarket, eateries close by. Murielle gave great tips on visiting local spots and helped organise taxi and recommended excursions and things to do on Moorea. My daughter will never forget her wonderful stay at Fare Mihimana.
