This place is a GEM. It’s a bit out there, but I like places that are a bit more removed. The view is spectacular, the room was clean and comfortable. Additionally, I arrived super late due to ferry schedules and was met by the owner who recognized I’d not eaten and made me dinner. We sat up and chatted for ages, she was so kind. It’s been just amazing and I can’t recommend this place enough.

Risøyhamn Kafe has inner courtyard views, free WiFi and free private parking, situated in Risøyhamn. The guest house features quiet street views and a terrace. The owners were super helpful and very friendly. The homebaked chocolate muffins were lovely (thank you!!). The room and facilities were spotless and exactly as in the photos. The beds were comfortable. Food store close by so we could make our own dinner. Free coffee in the morning was a bonus. Would absolutely stay here again.

The moment you enter the room and see that view you know you've made the right decision. Remote little Hovden truly feels like the edge of the world. Tove was a great help in getting us settled. Set in Nyksund, Nyksund Ekspedisjonen features a terrace, bar and free WiFi. At the inn all rooms are equipped with bed linen and towels. A friendly place that caters to people who love the outdoors. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay, hiking the Dronningruta and enjoying the cuisine, which is the absolute best. Do not mist the “Taste of Northern Norway”. The baccalo is outstanding.

This central Andenes accommodation overlooks the Norwegian Sea and harbour. Upon arrival, guests are welcomed with free coffee or tea. Very friendly owner. A warm welcome, helped me park the motorcycle, showed me around the house. I had to stay a day longer because of the storm, offered to help with whatever I needed, and just now (the morning of departure) it started snowing really badly and he called to ask if I was OK. The house itself is very charming with the old characteristics, but has everything a modern house needs. The kitchen is very complete, the heating works well, the shower is great and the wifi works well. The location is also great; just off the ferry and walking distance to some nice restaurants.

Arctic Garden in Lødingen offers self-catering accommodation with a surrounding garden in a romantic atmosphere. Free private parking on site and WiFi are offered. We stayed in the double room upstairs. It was kitted out with everything we needed with a very comfortable bed and was walking distance to the restaurants.

Situated at Nyksund Harbour, this family-owned, eco-certified guesthouse offers a restaurant and rooms and apartments with free Wi-Fi access. Myre village centre is 15 km away. It is an absolutely amazing place, calm, beautiful scenery, hiking paths, sea, mountains and a careful and helpful super nice host, Seemjon . I can‘t recommend it enough to stay there. It is perfect.
