Location, it's in an apartment building above a mall, there is a night market nearby, so it's convenient. Spotless clean, well equipment and furnished, the owners were friendly. Our stay was comfortable and pleasant.

Located in Kuching, 5.6 km from Sarawak Stadium and 10 km from Borneo Convention Centre Kuching, Jazepuri - Jaze 3 offers a shared lounge and air conditioning. Zack is so friendly and helpful. I have thoroughly enjoyed my stay here. While it's on the north side of the river from city center, it's very easy to get downtown by Grab or by boat for just a couple of ringgit. I actually like very much how it's a little removed from the centre of action and is very peaceful at night. The common areas are well equipped and it looks like there's even enough to cook a full meal if one wished to do so. The bed in my room was comfortable. I had a great sleep each night. Zack even offers tours (extra $ of course). He brought me out to Semenggoh and a couple of other stops at a reasonable cost. The water pressure in the shower is fantastic and basic toiletries were provided.

I booked a three night stay that I ended up extending for four more nights! From the start, Zack was a great host. He offered to pick me up from the airport for the same rate as a Grab, but rather than taking me straight to the guesthouse, he gave me a tour around the city and we stopped for dinner on the way! One day I went to the laundry and it started raining heavily, I get a message from Zack offering to come pick me up (for free)! Throughout my stay, Zack would check to see if I needed anything and he provided me with lots of suggestions for things to check in and around Kuching and I thoroughly enjoyed our conversations as well as the conversations with the other guests in the communal kitchen.

Offering a shared lounge and city view, Marco Polo Guest House is located in Kuching, 12 km from Sarawak Stadium and 41 km from Fort Margherita Kuching. The guesthouse is well located, close to various bus stops and the waterfront. The single room is large and clean, with a window, a small table with a chair and even a lockable closet. It's a bit loud in the morning, the garbage collection comes very early and the walls aren't quite as soundproof, but I still found it very nice. Sam had offered that I could either take this room or one without a window, but I stayed in the one with a window. The mattress was actually a bit hard, but that was the case in other accommodations too, so maybe that's normal. The owners Sam and Jane are super nice, helpful and always open to a conversation and always have tips and information to hand. The breakfast was also plentiful and lovingly prepared. The stay is rounded off by the sweet and sometimes playful furry friends. Most of the guests were friendly, communicative and considerate. I felt very comfortable and would choose it again.
