The rooms are new, clean, cozy and they have AC. The bathrooms are large and sparly clean. The family that owns the place are very friendly and helpful. The food they prepare is delicious. The lobby offers a generous space to relax and work. You can even enjoy the sight of crocodiles swimming or sunbathing in the river from the terrace above. I can’t recommend this place enough! My wife and I were welcomed and treated in Tissa Rainbow as part of the family. Our stay along with the organized safari is a life-time experience which we will remember for years. Our driver and guide Amila was very knowledgeable, spotted for us lots of animals and birds and even told us interesting facts about many of them. We were lucky to enjoy local flora and fauna far away from crowds most of the time. I would rate our experience as 20 out of 10.

Great spot to base yourself for Yala Park. The Cabana has 2 rooms available to book, one on the top floor with a terrace and one on the ground floor. My friend and I each booked one of the rooms which are equal in size and amenities. Very clean and a decent shower, good ac and wifi. The host was incredibly friendly and accommodating. She helped us with booking a Yala Park Tour. Best breakfast! Overall, great price and spot for access to Yala.

The bedroom and bathroom were spotless, and the room was really spacious! We had a really nice home cooked meal the night we were there, and we did a safari the following morning. The owners and their daughter were so nice and helpful.

In the evening he took us for a bird watching tour during sunset, which was unbelievably beautiful. In the evening we ate a delicious Sri Lankan dinner prepared by the owner’s wife. The room was very comfortable.
