Skvěle a dobře vybavené ubytování v evropském stylu. Výjimečná čistota včetně udržovaného okolí ubytování. Připadali jsme si jako v 4* hotelu. Lokalita je velmi klidná a člověk je skvělé spojený s přírodou. Pláž je relativně blízko a provozní vedoucí ochotně nabídl svezení TukTukem. Bazén je čistý a přiměřeně velký. Skvěle jsou stromy poskytující dostatek stínu pro četbu. Pokoje mají klimatizaci i větrák a pro nás 3 dospělé byly vhodně velké. Ubytování jsme našli úplnou náhodou a naprosto nám vyrazilo dech. Skvělá kuchyně. Čerstvě ulovená ryba k večeři, hranolky, zelenina a samoz chlazené pivo byla třešnička na dortu. Na ostrově jsme byli 16 dnů a kromě dvou noci spali vždycky jinde. Tohle ubytování bylo bezkonkurenčně nejlepší a nejčistší mezi soukromými hostiteli. Pozor pouze na jiný přístup k času, půl hodina nehraje roli :)

Absolutely wonderful experience. The host was so kind, gracious, and whenever she saw me offered to prepare fresh tea or juice. I arrived on a Thursday, and requested help to arrange a safari the next day. Her nephew was able to get everything sorted for me, and I was picked up at the hotel the next morning. The bathroom is great with a waterfall shower head and handheld one. Perfect for getting all the safari dust off. The room is impeccably clean. The owner even had a bike available to ride to town, and arranged a tuk tuk for me to get to the bus stop when I left. 100% recommend!

Wonderful hosts were so welcoming. They took care of everything for us. The rooms were very comfortable. We enjoyed a beautiful welcome drink and offers of transportation to the local restaurants at no charge. Our hosts arranged a super safari experience for us; our guide was outstanding. On our return another beautiful juice was prepared for us and we could freshen up before being transported to our next destination .

Great spot to base yourself for Yala Park. The Cabana has 2 rooms available to book, one on the top floor with a terrace and one on the ground floor. My friend and I each booked one of the rooms which are equal in size and amenities. Very clean and a decent shower, good ac and wifi. The host was incredibly friendly and accommodating. She helped us with booking a Yala Park Tour. Best breakfast! Overall, great price and spot for access to Yala.

We were only at the hotel for 1 whole day to go on a safari in Yala National Park, still, it was a very nice stay with a warm welcoming and smiling hosts. We got a nice room with air condition and when we were picked up the next morning at 4:30 am for safari, the host came out with breakfast for us which was very ice.

My wife and I spent 7 days at Mailagama Cinnamon Residence. The hotel is located in a very beautiful and quiet place in the middle of green rice fields. We loved to walk and there were many routes around - there were large lakes nearby. You meet very few people, just many-many peacocks or a lonely lizard. The hotel is nice looking and comfortable. Our room was clean and large. There was very good hot water pressure, probably the best of the 9 hotels in Sri Lanka where we stayed. Terrace with beautiful views of the surrounding area. There was a large space for working on a laptop, doing yoga and meditation, with fans running. As we are freelancers it was essential for us. We were delighted with the food cooked by two very kind ladies. The hotel manager was incredibly attentive to all our needs, very punctual and obliging. We were also glad to meet the hotel owners. Indira and her husband showed us their cinnamon plantations. It is not like in numerous “Spice gardens”, where they try to sell tourists cinnamon at an increased price. There was a small family production here, which was specially shown to us. You can buy cinnamon, but no one imposes it. We bought some as gifts for our friends. And we were also very grateful to our hosts for driving us along the highway. Within half an hour we met 3 elephants, a herd of buffalo and deer. And this was not a nature reserve, but an ordinary road. On another day we went on a safari to Yala Park. We saw 3 leopards, wild pigs and many other animals. The safari was booked through the hotel, the price was quite normal. Overall, this is one of the best hotels in terms of price-quality. Many people only stay for a day to go on safari, but this place deserves more. We are going to return here next year and recommend this hotel to everyone who likes nature

Lake Front Yala Safari se nachází v destinaci Kataragama a poskytuje ubytování s zahradou, neplaceným soukromým parkovištěm a terasou. Tissa Wewa je 18 km daleko. Ubytování musím jen doporučit, pan Prasanna s rodinou jsou velmi milí a pohostinní lidé. Paní domácí nabídla výbornou večeří. Hlavně bych zmíni, že majitel nabízí Safari v Yala National Park a svůj servis ovládá skvěle. Vyráželi jsme s jeho džípem brzy ráno a jako jedni z mála měli možnost vidět leoparda, slony, krokodýla apodob. Opravdu skvělý zážitek.

The host was incredibly friendly and helped us out with any matter we had and also organized an amazing safari for us. After we arrived he took us for a little bird tour, which was really nice. He treated us with a fresh coconut, fruits and little snacks. The hospitality was outstanding. The room and generally the whole property was clean and comfy. We felt really welcomed and enjoyed our stay! We can definitely recommend this awesome place! Thank you very much for everything, we will come back! :-)

Krásné ubytování s neuvěřitelným výhledem na jezero. Majitelé velice příjemní lidé a paní uměla moc hezky anglicky. Snídaně byla veliká a moc dobrá. Půjčili nám kola abychom se mohli projet kolem jezer. Snažili se nám zajistit Safari. Měli i pivo. Úžasné a rozhodně doporučuji už jen pro ten zážitek spaní v tree House. The best!!!

The host is a great person. I was scammed during a safari and when I came to V Cabanas the day after, the host and his friend figured out how I was scammed (I was taken for a "safari" out of the official Yala Park). They offered to take me to the police and they did all the communications for me. He and his friend treated me like I never was before in all my travels. If you need to feel in safe hands and that you will find help when needed, come here. The accomodation it self is excellent. Super clean room and bed sheets, with new modern bathroom. I have only positives to say about the hosts and the room it self!
