JAMI River Side Hotel & Yala Safari Place býður upp á útsýni yfir ána og gistirými með verönd, í um 2,2 km fjarlægð frá Tissa Wewa. Absolutely wonderful experience. The host was so kind, gracious, and whenever she saw me offered to prepare fresh tea or juice. I arrived on a Thursday, and requested help to arrange a safari the next day. Her nephew was able to get everything sorted for me, and I was picked up at the hotel the next morning. The bathroom is great with a waterfall shower head and handheld one. Perfect for getting all the safari dust off. The room is impeccably clean. The owner even had a bike available to ride to town, and arranged a tuk tuk for me to get to the bus stop when I left. 100% recommend!

Wonderful hosts were so welcoming. They took care of everything for us. The rooms were very comfortable. We enjoyed a beautiful welcome drink and offers of transportation to the local restaurants at no charge. Our hosts arranged a super safari experience for us; our guide was outstanding. On our return another beautiful juice was prepared for us and we could freshen up before being transported to our next destination .

Great spot to base yourself for Yala Park. The Cabana has 2 rooms available to book, one on the top floor with a terrace and one on the ground floor. My friend and I each booked one of the rooms which are equal in size and amenities. Very clean and a decent shower, good ac and wifi. The host was incredibly friendly and accommodating. She helped us with booking a Yala Park Tour. Best breakfast! Overall, great price and spot for access to Yala.

Blue Sky Hotel Yala er staðsett í Yala, 3 km frá Tissa Wewa og 28 km frá Bundala-fuglaverndarsvæðinu. Boðið er upp á garð- og vatnaútsýni. We were only at the hotel for 1 whole day to go on a safari in Yala National Park, still, it was a very nice stay with a warm welcoming and smiling hosts. We got a nice room with air condition and when we were picked up the next morning at 4:30 am for safari, the host came out with breakfast for us which was very ice.

My wife and I spent 7 days at Mailagama Cinnamon Residence. The hotel is located in a very beautiful and quiet place in the middle of green rice fields. We loved to walk and there were many routes around - there were large lakes nearby. You meet very few people, just many-many peacocks or a lonely lizard. The hotel is nice looking and comfortable. Our room was clean and large. There was very good hot water pressure, probably the best of the 9 hotels in Sri Lanka where we stayed. Terrace with beautiful views of the surrounding area. There was a large space for working on a laptop, doing yoga and meditation, with fans running. As we are freelancers it was essential for us. We were delighted with the food cooked by two very kind ladies. The hotel manager was incredibly attentive to all our needs, very punctual and obliging. We were also glad to meet the hotel owners. Indira and her husband showed us their cinnamon plantations. It is not like in numerous “Spice gardens”, where they try to sell tourists cinnamon at an increased price. There was a small family production here, which was specially shown to us. You can buy cinnamon, but no one imposes it. We bought some as gifts for our friends. And we were also very grateful to our hosts for driving us along the highway. Within half an hour we met 3 elephants, a herd of buffalo and deer. And this was not a nature reserve, but an ordinary road. On another day we went on a safari to Yala Park. We saw 3 leopards, wild pigs and many other animals. The safari was booked through the hotel, the price was quite normal. Overall, this is one of the best hotels in terms of price-quality. Many people only stay for a day to go on safari, but this place deserves more. We are going to return here next year and recommend this hotel to everyone who likes nature

Lake Front Yala Safari er staðsett í Kataragama, 18 km frá Tissa Wewa og 18 km frá Situlpawwa, og býður upp á garð- og vatnaútsýni. An amazing property and family. The room was huge and spacious with fan and AC and the bathroom was big. The whole property was very clean and tidy. The owner, his wife and daughter were lovely and made us so welcome. The daughters English is fantastic and she loves to practice it with you. This has to be the best place we stayed in 16 days in Sri Lanka. If you are doing a safari to Yala then this place is so close to the entrance (closer thank Tisso) and the owner can organise a jeep at a very good price. The owners wife even allowed me to watch and help her cook our dinner in her kitchen. The food was amazing. We would definitely recommend this place.

Blue Birds Tissa & Yala Safari býður upp á gistingu með setusvæði en það er staðsett í innan við 2,5 km fjarlægð frá Tissa Wewa og 24 km frá Bundala-fuglafriðlandinu í Tissamaharama. The host was incredibly friendly and helped us out with any matter we had and also organized an amazing safari for us. After we arrived he took us for a little bird tour, which was really nice. He treated us with a fresh coconut, fruits and little snacks. The hospitality was outstanding. The room and generally the whole property was clean and comfy. We felt really welcomed and enjoyed our stay! We can definitely recommend this awesome place! Thank you very much for everything, we will come back! :-)

Lake Face Cabana býður upp á gistingu með svölum og útsýni yfir vatnið, í um 4,5 km fjarlægð frá Tissa Wewa. Gististaðurinn er með aðgang að verönd, ókeypis einkabílastæði og ókeypis WiFi. The owners were very friendly and helpful with everything we needed. The location is right by the lake and the view is fantastic. The place is very well kept with a lot of love and attention to details like beautifully arranged plants. We had dinner and breakfast there, both were absolutely delicious, better than in many restaurants!

V Cabanas býður upp á gistirými með verönd og garðútsýni, í um 2,6 km fjarlægð frá Tissa Wewa. Það er sérinngangur á gistihúsinu til aukinna þæginda fyrir þá sem dvelja á staðnum. I had an amazing stay at V Cabanas! The host is a great person. I was scammed during a safari and when I came to V Cabanas the day after, the host and his friend figured out how I was scammed (I was taken for a "safari" out of the official Yala Park). They offered to take me to the police and they did all the communications for me. He and his friend treated me like I never was before in all my travels. If you need to feel in safe hands and that you will find help when needed, come here. The accomodation it self is excellent. Super clean room and bed sheets, with new modern bathroom. I have only positives to say about the hosts and the room it self!
