The Location, The Hospitality, The Design of the Cottages, The Food : we spent 1 day here and really wanted to cancel our further plans and stay back If it wasn’t fully booked the next days! We booked the hut for two days with kids . It was private and beautiful and much better than the photos. The food was excellent and generous . They also provide safari wich was amazing with a lot of animals and additional time . We was even lucky and spotted a leopard. The hoke experience was very nice. We recommend the place and the safari guide.

Forest Edge Safari Villa ตั้งอยู่ในอุดาวาลาเว ห่างจากอุทยานแห่งชาติ Udawalawe National Park 16 กม. We booked this place to serve us for a sleep over for our safari tour. However, this turned out to be a great surprise as the facility and staff exceeded our expectations. The room was very clean, the best bathroom during our Sri Lanka trip, comfortable. The backyard is a forest with an amazing feeling of nature being next to you. The staff (a young brother and sister) were really great. Our breakfast was marvelous. And the facility was very very cheap. I think the team should reconsider the prices. We also used their jeep for safari and the price and quality was very good. Suresh was our guide and he was very very good with identifying all species of birds, not just a generic elephant observer. We were very satisfied with our tour. This was a great stay for us and we can suggest to everyone.

Such a perfect place to stay when you want to visit Udawalawe national park! We highly recommend to arrange the private jeep tour to the park with the owner - the driver was so professional, spoke good English and made sure that we saw all the animals possible!! The place itself is magical - cosy little house with outdoor shower. Especially relaxing if you arrive from the busy Kandy city or south area. The house was very clean and comfortable. The owners were so warm and welcoming. And the food!!! They prepared us such a nice lunch when we arrived - very authentic and delicious Sri Lankan food. Also their dog was such a nice entertainment for our toddler 🙂

Silent River Cottage อยู่ในอุดาวาลาเว ห่างจากอุทยานแห่งชาติ Udawalawe National Park 16 กม. Beautiful setting and Amila and his family were so kind and helpful. Food was delicious and very generous. They organized Safari for us with a picnic and good driver to pick us up and for safari. Would highly recommend!

We realy loved this place/ a thrue paradise I would recommand this place to everyone Perfect getaway... we had a lovely swim in the lake, were allowed to use the canoe We were surrounded by nature in all it's beauty The owner was very kind to us, he showed us around in the garden, helped us wherever he could, was very kind to our kid and arranged a wonderfull safari and trip to the elephant orphanage In total: we had a great time in this quiet peacefull paradise!
