The nearest airport is Mattala Rajapaksa International Airport, 49 km from the guest house. This is a hidden gem in the area. We travelled from Canada and decided to go by what other travellers had said and glad we stayed here. The staff found out it was our anniversary and went out of their way to decorate our room - a lovely touch. The place is clean, the room was pristine, the breakfast is good and the staff are excellent. The hotel has its own safari jeep and we organized everything with them, it was probably the best thing we did. We’d go back.

The decor at this place was just on point, the bathroom outside, the lights in the room.. just really good. Dasun is super helpful, arranges safari, food, transportation, whatever you need! I already wish I could go back.

The room was exceptionally clean , spacious and well equipped with a lovely covered area to relax with a book. Home cooked food was delicious and plentiful. Kuma also organised us a fantastic safari at the close by Udawalawe Park with a great driver/guide who found us lots of different animals, plus he arranged a trip to the Elephant Transit home which coincided with the baby elephants being given their milk. A truly unforgettable stay, and excellent value for money. I would definitely return there.

They try their best to make you feel comfortable. The room is cozy and clean with a nice garden. Breakfast is amazing Sri Lanka style with a lot of fruit. They allow me to have my breakfast after the safari tour. Location is great coz it’s close to the Safari. I booked the morning safari tour through the owner which is fantastic. The driver made all-out effort to find the animals, the guide provided lots of information about the National Park and the animals.
