Offering a garden and garden view, Thomasha Homestay & Tuk Tuk Service is set in Wellawaya, 34 km from Demodara Nine Arch Bridge and 6.9 km from Buduruwagala Temple. Thomasha was so nice! He offered to get us dinner when we arrived late and surprised us by washing our tuk-tuk! Very comfortable place to stay if you are in Wellawaya.

21 km from Situlpawwa, Mailagama Cinnamon Residence is a recently renovated property set in Kataragama and offers air-conditioned rooms with free WiFi and private parking. Great staff, and views. Really nice room. Yummy food

Offering a garden and garden view, Lake Front Yala Safari is located in Kataragama, 18 km from Tissa Wewa and 18 km from Situlpawwa. The hosts were very welcoming when I arrived in the night- there was a really nice juice on arrival and the daughter Nithya was helpful in recommending places to visit in Kataragama and in organising a safari in Yala. Meals were great (including take away breakfast during safari), everything was clean and there was AC in the bedroom. There’s also a bicycle to use to get around in. Would highly recommend a night here if you plan to explore Yala national park.

A good location for a hassle-free stay in Tanamalwila, Mayka's luxury holiday homes is a guest house surrounded by views of the garden. Big room and bathroom with space to eat (so we could eat in our room instead of the restaurant upstairs, which was very cute tho...). Best wifi we had during our trip. Great location for Lunugamvehera Safari (we did not book it with them, but it seemed like we could because they also had a safari jeep). The owner speaks dutch and is very nice! We arranged a well priced tuktuk with her, that took us to Dickwella at 7 pm after our safari (about 2.30-3h drive). We enjoyed our stay and definitly recommend when visiting the Lunugamvehera side of Yala national park. Glad there was a restaurant in the hotel, because there did not seem to be much in the area (we didn't mind tho, we were only here for the safari :))

Featuring air-conditioned accommodation with a balcony, Hotel Serugahawatta is set in Wellawaya. There is an on-site restaurant, plus free private parking and free WiFi are available. Even though hotel is located by the Ella-Wellawaya road, the location is very calm. Construction wasn't done in some parts of the facility. But the available rooms were at good standard. Good value to your money.

Egy varázslatos hely! Nem lehet szavakban leírni! Nyugalom, különlegesség, harmónia, zene, füstölők illata, esti fények, kedvesség. A helyben szervezett szafari nagyon jó volt, kár kihagyni! A házigazda és gyermekei mindent megtesznek azért, hogy jól érezd magad! Amennyiben ide eljössz, biztosan emlékezni fogysz rá, annyira különleges! Biztosan van aki nomádnak mondaná, de ehhez a helyhez ez a környezet illik, ettől különleges és csodálatos mi nagyon örültünk, hogy itt foglaltunk szállást!

It was a quick night stay before the safari. They organised the pick up and the safari at reasonable price and we are happy with the experience. Nice room with warm water

Located in Buttala, 31 km from Buduruwagala Temple, Grand Okka Hotel provides accommodation with water sports facilities, free private parking, an open-air bath and a garden. Lovely place and very quiet. Clean room and bathroom. Lots of space around the property. AC and fan too. Lovely owner, very helpful! We enjoyed our stay very much! Thank you
