Everything is top class! Clean, good taste in decoration, tasty food. We had both dinner at the property and did not want to leave that peaceful environment. The family is extremely helpful. The rooms are extremely clean and the interiors are beautiful. The host family is lovely and very friendly. I was unwell when I got there, they provided me a special homemade remedy drink and I felt much better. Thank you Sanjeev, Madhu and the kids for the wonderful hospitality. Definitely must stay here. There are only 2 rooms in the establishment as of now. The balcony faces a beautiful view of nature and its walkable to the cave temple. I stayed here with my parents, my spouse and infant and it was an amazing stay. Thank you.

Boasting a garden and views of mountain, Hungry Lion Sigiriya is a recently renovated guest house situated in Sigiriya, 1.7 km from Sigiriya Rock. This place is really a great place to stay when you want to see the Lion rock. All the staff are friendly and helpful. The breakfast included is also a bonus.

You feel welcomed and at home from the moment you arrive. Beautiful rooms, common areas and pool. I personally ended my trip here but it’s a great starting point as you‘ll meet other (solo) travelers to exchange and join plans.

The owner’s family is cute, caring with each other. Food are delicious, juice is served every day. We also ordered dinner there for convenience.

We have stayed one night in the hotel and it was amazing. The staff was very kind and helpful with tips on when and what to visit. They have served a tasty tea when we arrived which was very sweet of the hosting family. The room was clean and had a mosquito net = no mosquito bites :) We ordered breakfast which was very delicious (pancakes with coconut were awesome). We will definitely come back if we have a chance.
