Set within 17 km of Sigiriya Rock and 20 km of Pidurangala Rock, Hotel Hanguk Villa offers rooms with air conditioning and a private bathroom in Dambulla. Incredible stay. Very clean and comfortable, with working AC and a ceiling fan. Both warm and cold water for the shower. Most notably, the hosts were fantastic! So welcoming and so helpful. When we arrived they drove us to a scooter rental so we could get our scooter. The one day we had to leave early to go to Sigiriya for the day and they packed us a breakfast to go. Dinner at their restaurant was affordable and delicious. On the morning we left, they drove us to the bus station and stayed with us to make sure we caught the right bus. If you’re staying in Dambulla you should definitely stay here. These may be the most helpful hosts I’ve ever had while travelling across Southeast Asia.

Hidden Lake Cottages Sigiriya is located in Sigiriya and features a private pool and lake views. Featuring babysitting service, this property also provides guests with a picnic area. My stay at Hidden Lake Cottages exceeded my high expectations! The actual villa with my own private pool was such a peaceful retreat right in the center of sigiriya but the incredibly kind and helpful owners, Mahesh and Chandhi really made it the most easy and comfortable experience. Before I arrived they arranged for a driver to pick me up from Colombo for the best price around, so my arrival couldn't have been smoother. Our diver Aigith was so reliable and helpful and we used his services every day. I highly recommend staying at least 3 nights and having Chandhi serve you her spectacular homemade meals poolside. We much preferred her meals to the restaurants. You do not need a plan before you get there because they will arrange things for you but this is what I did and it worked out perfectly: Day 1 airport pick up, swim in private pool hike pidurangala rock at sunset, come back and have dinner poolside. Day 2: sunrise at sigiriya rock and go to Dambulla cave temples and have lunch and dinner poolside. Day 3: Go to Anuradhapura and come back for snack and then dinner poolside. Day 4: Have an amazing breakfast and try not to cry when you check out after having such an amazing experience. I have been all over the world and this place really stole my heart. You will not find a more beautiful place that will take better care of you, especially at such a low price. I tipped a lot because I felt like they could have charged a lot more. Very kind, helpful and honest people that are willing to help you with anything at all.

Offering a garden and garden view, Simoya Nature Park is set in Dambulla, 19 km from Sigiriya Rock and 22 km from Pidurangala Rock. The hosts were wonderful — they were prompt in replying to our messages and tended to our needs. The breakfast we were served was delicious. The bed was comfy and the place was extremely clean.

Boasting a garden and views of mountain, Hungry Lion Sigiriya is a recently renovated guest house situated in Sigiriya, 1.7 km from Sigiriya Rock. One of the best rooms we had so far in Sri Lanka, good hot shower and WiFi. All good restaurants within 5/10 min walking distance. The Lion Rock is also nearby. The breakfast is really good and the owner is really friendly and tries giving you a good time!

Located within 3.5 km of Sigiriya Rock and 4.5 km of Pidurangala Rock in Sigiriya, Relax Nature Villa offers accommodation with seating area. Our stay was excellent. It is a must stop in Sigiryia. Owner and his family are the kindest people on this planet. They help you with anything and their hospitality is exceptional. Also we tried breakfast, lunch and dinner here and it was the best food that we tried in Sri Lanka. All for cheap price. The location is great, very close to Lions rock. 100/10 😁😁😁

Boasting garden views, Roy's Villa features accommodation with an infinity pool, a garden and a bar, around 8.2 km from Sigiriya Rock. The staff is unbelievable friendly and constantly trys to fulfill all wishes of their costumers. The hostel offers nice activities, really delicious food (try their banana milkshake!) and very cozy bungalows-- especially for couples highly recommended!

Located in Sigiriya and only 1.9 km from Sigiriya Rock, The Cattleya Guest House Sigiriya provides accommodation with mountain views, free WiFi and free private parking. The greenery that surrounds the house. It's so well kept and peaceful there. The room is big and well equipped. The owner and his son are lovely and take such good care of you. It was a wonderful experience. I would 100% stay here again.

Offering a garden and lake view, Victory Villa Sigiriya is set in Sigiriya, 3.2 km from Sigiriya Rock and 4.3 km from Pidurangala Rock. most beautiful accommodation in sri lanka. the highlights: good breakfast, very clean and right in the countryside, quiet except for monkeys and a variety of birds. the two hosts and their children are very sweet and sincere. we got a lunch togo with us when we left and the host drives us from a to b in a Jeep :)

Located just 2.7 km from Sigiriya Rock, Sigiri Close-up View Guest features accommodation in Sigiriya with access to a garden, a bar, as well as a 24-hour front desk. The property had the most spectacular views of the rock, and there were always so many birds and monkeys in the area to watch. The hosts were absolutely wonderful and so attentive and made sure we were fully looked after the whole time.
