We had an amazing stay at Xavier’s homestay in Pakse. Xavier was incredibly kind and went above and beyond to make sure we had a great experience. He helped us rent motorbikes hassle free at a reasonable price and gave us tips on exploring the beautiful Bolaven Plateau. The accommodation was cozy and comfortable, and we really felt at home during our three-night stay. I am very sensitive to bugs and we had absolutely no issues with that throughout our stay at Bolaven trail guesthouse. The host even surprised us with a fantastic baguette for breakfast, which was a lovely touch. Overall, we couldn't have asked for a better host or a better place to stay in Pakse. We highly recommend this homestay to anyone looking for a warm and welcoming experience in Laos. Thank you to Xavier for making our trip so special.

Don Som Riverside Guesthouse ligger i Don Som og har have, terrasse, restaurant og bar. Der tilbydes roomservice, concierge-service og valutaveksling. Very nice relaxing place directly at the river with a few bungalows. Not a fancy, touristy place but very good value. I love it. Out of guesthouse only local people at Don Som island. Owners/ staff are very friendly and caring, helping with organization (which you need if you want to go to Don Det/ Don Khon but easy in the end). Good kitchen at the guesthouse.

Xuanmai Garden Resort ligger 15 minutters kørsel fra Pakses centrum. Gæsterne kan nyde deres måltider i restauranten på stedet. Værelserne har gratis WiFi, aircondition, køleskab og tv. I will start by saying that the owner of the resort is simply amazing. Ngoc is very helpful, and an amazing cook. She was able to assist us with many things, bus, scooter renting. The place is very nice even if not in the city center, but to be honest that did not affect us at all, also because Ngoc is always available and can contact a tuk tuk for you. I definitely recommend the place and I hope to go back soon to enjoy the rice soup in the morning for breakfast in the beautiful garden.

Crazy Gecko Dondet ligger i Don Det i Champasak-regionen og har balkon og flodudsigt. Dette pensionat har have, terrasse og bar. Der tilbydes gratis WiFi overalt på ejendommen. We were initially placed in a three family room upstairs and were given the option to switch to a river view room the next day. However we preferred the bigger room with more privacy and the two hammocks. Very peaceful vibes and the host family was kind and knowledgeable. Not to mention great food I recommend the curry, sandwiches, and lemonade made in-house. Great bang for your buck.

DON DET Souksan Sunset Guesthouse and The Xisland Riverview Studio ligger i Ban Donsôm Tai og tilbyder indkvartering med aircondition og adgang til en have. The bed was soooo comfy. Mattress and blanket. AC works fine. The first room we got (the cheaper one) was comfy but nothing more. The second one directly on the river with the private balcony was avait stunning! Definitely worth the difference. The owner is very helpful with activity and transport and we had a good time. Wifi was good for Don Det and my dog was welcome and met many friendly other dogs on the island. Highly recommend 🥰

DD Guest House har bar og ligger i Pakse, 400 m fra Wat Luang, mindre end 1 km fra Pakse Busstation og 13 minutters gang fra Wat Phabat. Overnatningsstedet har sikkerhedsvagt hele dagen og... Great value for money, the host was very nice. Room is spacious enough

Excellent location on the riverfront within walking distance of the French bridge and restaurants. Large very clean room with hot shower, fridge and good a/c. Balcony with deck chairs. Swimming pool which was cleaned and clean while I was there. Very friendly owners who can help with onward tickets and local advice. Excellent value for money.

Chanhthida Riverside Guesthouse and The River Front Restaurant ligger i Ban Khon og har flodudsigt, restaurant og rengøringsservice. The position of the place is perfect to discover the island. The person that handles the property is amazing, struggling a little bit with the English but he will definitely try to help you with your questions. The food is amazing as well and the restaurant is on the river, perfect for enjoying a nice breakfast!
