Housed in a historic building, the recently renovated Jinrae Lee's Traditional House offers accommodation with a garden and free WiFi. The house was in an amazingly good shape with their traditional architectural style intact! While the bathrooms were not attached to the bedrooms because the house could not be remodeled to change the existing structure (as it is designated as a Protected Traditional House), each bedroom had an assigned private bathroom with a good shower and fancy amenities. This probably is the closest you can get living like a Josun Dynasty aristocrat in the modern day Korea. The owner lady was very helpful in providing tips for restaurants and things to do and see and very attentive to our comfort. While it is conveniently located (if you have a rental car) to explore the whole South Western provinces of Korea (UNESCO World Heritage Site tidal flats!), I thought that just staying in the house perched on the wooden floor looking out beautiful trees and drying persimmons with a book in hand itself was a huge treat. I would definitely stay here again!

Located 2 km from Tea Museum of Korea, 23 km from Boseong Bibong Dinosaur Park and 43 km from Nagan Eupseong Folk Village, boseong sujinhanog pensyeon features accommodation situated in Boseong. What I liked the most was the breakfast given by the host each morning around 9 am. It was so nice and so good ! And the hosts were very friendly, they offered me a drive where I wanted to go almost every day ! Moreover, you are just a twenty minute walk to the tea plantation, so it is very nice and you can go there without a car or anything like that. The room is well equipped with a TV, a microwave, a refrigerator, a kettle, the air conditioner and the bathroom is also good !

Located within 1.4 km of Suncheon Station and 3.2 km of Suncheonman Bay National Garden, Stay Dooroo provides rooms with air conditioning and a private bathroom in Suncheon. I only stayed two nights but the staff was absolutely wonderful! The room was very nice and had all the amenities I needed for the short time I stayed. The bed was very comfortable and since I was working a day remotely I appreciated the desk a lot! I forgot to say that I was allergic to shellfish and both the receptionist and cook were worried when noticing and asked what I would be able to eat! I unfortunately didn't manage to eat much since I had some slight stomach issues but I really loved everything I tried! Also many thanks to both for making me feel comfortable by helping me and even one of them bringing me to the corner. I hope next time I can improve my Korean to speak fluently with both of you! Also definitely leave an entry in the guestbook!

Suncheon Bay Healing Pension is set in Suncheon, 4.3 km from Suncheonman Bay National Garden, 7.2 km from Suncheon Station, as well as 11 km from Booyoung Country Club. The location was great - bus stop very close by and a short walk to Suncheon Bay. The owner was very kind, and the room was spacious and clean. The heated floor (ondol) was a very welcome surprise and the pension was very quiet. Altogether we had a great night's sleep and would come back again!!

Damyang Thirasia Pension is set in Damyang, within 3.5 km of Korea Bamboo Museum and 20 km of Gwangju Family Land.

Featuring air-conditioned accommodation with a private pool, Ellon Hanok Pension is located in Yeosu. This holiday home provides free private parking, free shuttle service and free WiFi. Wonderful experience of Hanok! Kids loved the fire pit roasting marshmallows and jumping into hot tub outside. Also.the host was super helpful and accommodating.

Located in Yeosu, 11 km from Guksaam Buddhist Hermitage, Oh My Family Pension offers accommodation with pool with a view, free private parking, an open-air bath and free bikes. It was such a beautiful location with stunning views. There were tables and sun umbrellas on a long deck with cute heart sculptures perfect for pictures.
