Featuring a terrace and views of mountain, Leehakjang guesthouse is a guest house situated in a historic building in Mokpo, 1.2 km from Mokpo Station. I had a very relaxing stay. bed was very comfortable, aircon worked well, shower water pressure and temperature were good. The room and toilet is very clean. The owner is very friendly and kind. On my check out day, I was taking the 7am train back to Seoul. Breakfast is usually at 8am and the owner was prepared it earlier for that day and even drove me to the train station. Excellent location and walkable to the historical area of Mokpo. lots of good restaurants and cafes around. Its quiet at night and safe to walk around.

Housed in a historic building, the recently renovated Jinrae Lee's Traditional House offers accommodation with a garden and free WiFi. The place is one and only! Both lovely hosts went out of their way to make the stay even more enjoyable.

Situated in Mokpo, AnJin2Ne is a recently renovated accommodation, 800 metres from Mokpo Station and 5.5 km from Pyeonghwa Peace Square. The room and bathroom were clean, with free bottled water and soap. The kitchen with breakfast is nice and clean, ans with good equipment. It's well insulated and with working equipment. The staff is reactive and nice

Suncheon Bay Healing Pension is set in Suncheon, 4.3 km from Suncheonman Bay National Garden, 7.2 km from Suncheon Station, as well as 11 km from Booyoung Country Club. The location was great - bus stop very close by and a short walk to Suncheon Bay. The owner was very kind, and the room was spacious and clean. The heated floor (ondol) was a very welcome surprise and the pension was very quiet. Altogether we had a great night's sleep and would come back again!!

Damyang Thirasia Pension is set in Damyang, within 3.5 km of Korea Bamboo Museum and 20 km of Gwangju Family Land.

Featuring air-conditioned accommodation with a private pool, Elon Hanok Pension is located in Yeosu. This holiday home provides free private parking, free shuttle service and free WiFi. Wonderful experience of Hanok! Kids loved the fire pit roasting marshmallows and jumping into hot tub outside. Also.the host was super helpful and accommodating.

Providing garden views, Demare Pension is located in the Dolsan-eup district of Yeosu, 7.8 km from Maritime & Fisheries Science Museum and 15 km from Dolsan Park. Very comfortable stay! Staff was incredibly nice and went out of their way to help us. BBQ and bubble bath were great. Good to know is that the water for the bubble bath gets switched off at 10pm - so, good to fill it up before if you want to use it later.

Located in Mokpo and only 200 metres from Mokpo Station, Picasso Guesthouse provides accommodation with garden views, free WiFi and free private parking. Nicely done, all the conveniences of an apartment. Big and spacious

Located in Mokpo, 700 metres from Mokpo Station, Geonmaek Stay provides accommodation with a garden, free WiFi and full-day security. Geonmak Stay is awesome - so glad I stayed there. It's a really short walk to the Mokpo Station - I took the KTX from Seoul, arrived at night, and it was quick and easy to walk there. It's an interesting place, different in some ways from anywhere I've stayed, but different in a way that I really liked. The room was very clean, bed was very comfortable. You check in at the Pub downstairs, and the English instructions they gave me were pretty clear - everything worked. The bathroom IS the shower - don't aim the shower head at the trash can or toilet paper roll, though. The bidet seat buttons were all labelled in Korean, but I figured them out pretty quickly, since I have a Toto Washlet at home, anyway. The people at the pub are great. Their English is not great, but being young, they quickly pulled out translators on their phones which helped a lot. There is a refrigerator and microwave (again, knob labels in Korean) in the small kitchen on the second floor. The neighborhood is not so upscale, but felt very safe and walking around (it's only about 100 yards from the harbor quay) was great - you can get fresh fruits and vegetables their easily. There are some cool bakeries and coffee shops nearby, in addition to plenty of mini-marts. In summary, I had a great experience - be sure to go down to the Pub often!!
