Located in Nikko, 2.8 km from Tobu Nikko Station, Gableview Forest Inn ゲーブルビュー features accommodation with a hot spring bath, a public bath and an open-air bath. the host couple is super nice and friendly. the dinner is amazingly delicious. the onsen is also great. overall it's a comfy stay and would like to stay with them again.

It is in a quiet location a short walk from the bus stop. We got a little stuck in the rain but once we got there it was such a welcome relief, a beautiful traditional Japanese house with tatami mats and shoji. The sounds of the nearby river flowing behind the property was extremely relaxing and really added to the serenity of the property. The host is such a nice guy, we chatted fishing and he even sent me my headphones to our next accomodation after I left them behind. Wish we could have stayed longer but with our limited time we were go go go! Thanks Midorian.
