Love the room decor and atmosphere of the whole building - was a little jarring at first, but the longer I was there, there more appreciative of the little details and the work rhats gone in. It was like staying in an art gallery.

This place is so special - a beautiful building run by wonderful women who were so friendly and welcoming. They even shared some homemade umeshu with us which was so kind. I had a big room to myself and even though the sound carries through the building, everyone was quiet and respectful so I slept very well. I would love to come back.

Really lovely and helpful hosts and the house is very beautiful and clean. I also recommend eating Keihan as a breakfast there, it's a delicious local dish. When I return to Amami, I will definitely stay here again ♥️

Set within a few steps of Higashi Beach and 200 metres of Kaminoko Beach, Guest room Halemakana offers rooms with air conditioning and a shared bathroom in Amami. Opposite the beach with a great view, some nice dinner spots near by and great access to beach for surfing and sightseeing. The rooms were new and fresh, very clean and the hosts went above and beyond to make the stay enjoyable for us. Would recommend.

Offering inner courtyard views, Guesthouse Coco Garage is an accommodation situated in Kirishima, 5.8 km from Kirishima Jingu Shrine and 20 km from Ebino Plateau. This place is amazing in so many ways. The owner is very attentive and helps with any issue you have.

Situated a 15-minute drive from Yakushima Airport, La Isla Tasse is charming accommodation housed in a large American-style mansion. Wonderful hosts, beautiful house and location. Shuichi and Chikako made out stay extra special and introduced us to this magical island. We can not wait to come back and stay with them again.

A 3-minute walk from Yakushima Airport, Tomarigi offers a bunk in a dorm room, a garden with a hammock and free Wi-Fi. You can really feel the love in the home, a warm environment created by Satomi (owner). Communicating was never a problem because of her ability to express herself (and also google translate). She was very helpful and caring, and Tomarigi felt like a 2nd home with Satomi as the mother and the guests as her children.

Set 100 metres from Seaman's Beach, 与論ゲストハウス ズッ友荘 offers air-conditioned accommodation with a terrace. This guest house offers free private parking, free shuttle service and free WiFi. You will be taken and returned to the airport. And believe us this is the only positive point. we don't understand how they have this rating on the website/app.
