I was the only guest for the night. Great common area for multiple people. There is a full kitchen for use and while it is a bit out of the way it was one of the best places i stayed on my trip.

Most importantly, she prepared the most delicious meals during our stays. The ingredients are all freshly cooked from the region and she is trying to offer us variety of what we eat. We cannot be thankful enough to stay here for our trip to Appi Kogen. It is Kayoko san that makes our trip extra warm and special. Thank you so much.

Beautiful, clean, lovely host with delicious breakfast
Location superb near Shimokura Ski Resort and Appi Kogen. Was quiet, comfortable, hosts were very accommodating and friendly. Breakfast was delicious. There was a drying room for our snow clothes that were wet. The accommodation was clean and warm.
The host made the stay into an amazing japanese experience. We had a cooking evening with traditional japanese food and a morning walk to the different local areas in Morioka. The host made a great effort to introduce us to the authentic part of Morioka also by sharing all his favorite spots with us. We tried many local coffe places, and delicious local food in the area thanks to him. Cannot recommend this place enough. The house/room was very charming and very clean and pleasant.
Perfect host. Ultra cosy and clean Ryokan in charming part of Morioka. Good reasons for the numerous rules. It means my space is clean. After staying in a few other ryokans which are not of similar standards, I can better appreciate Tototo with the rules and quality chattels. Would come again and highly recommend this place. Thank you for your hospitality.
Lovely hotel located within a short walk of the train station (note that you need to use the underpass to cross the road from the station, there is an elevator on both sides if you have luggage). The room was wonderful, lovely view across the river with the mountains in the background. The room was very clean, quiet, and a really good size. Lots of restaurants and shops within walking distance of the hotel so it was a great location.
Place feeling new and cosy, very wooden. Cheap for the conditions, very friendly host. Conveniently placed, very close to the station. Quiet place, although on the night I was in, there was some construction work on the road, but it seems like an exceptional event. Very warm place, I recommend !
Everything!!! Breakfast was absolutely fantastic, many options for everyone! The room was a big enough for two persons. Clean, great location, many restaurants near the hotel, quiet, staff are friendly!
Nothing. It’s a cheap and very basic pension located near Appi ski slopes. I have stayed at other pensions with more lively and warm atmosphere where the owners and guests mingled. So my stay here was relatively less enjoyable.
Picturesque pension close to the Appi Kogen ski resort area. Great value. Kayoko-san was a very kind and hospitable host. With her husband they pick me up at the station and took me to the snow area - thank you! Looking forward to the next opportunity of visiting you and Appi Kogen!
