The house is beautiful, spotless, peaceful.. I found myself wanting to live there haha. And the host is super friendly and kind. He recommended an awesome place to have dinner, he drove me and the other guest to Magome so we could do the trail, AND he got me an adaptor that I was missing because mine didn't work. I was very grateful.

Offering mountain views, Guesthouse Nedoko is an accommodation situated in Nakatsugawa, 200 metres from Magome Observatory and 100 metres from Magome Wakihonjin Museum. The location is perfect! Magome is very special and it felt very unique sleeping here and being there at night with no tourists. The design of the hotel is also very nice. Everything worked perfectly and the staff was very kind and helped us with dinner reservations and with local recommendations. The Nakansendo trail to Tsumago was a highlight of our trip and I totally recommend spending a night/s here to do it :)

Offering a garden and city view, Guesthouse Gifu SUAI is situated in Gifu, 29 km from Nagoya Castle and 30 km from Nagoya Station. The husband and wife of the property live next door and were very kind and attentive to our needs. We were running late to see the Ukai show so that helped us with a speedy check in process. We have been on a motorcycle road trip and I can’t say how well we slept at this property. And they have a lovely dog that entertained us too. We will definitely be staying here again on our future road trips. I highly recommend staying here. Rooms are clean, showers are great, and great company. They have motorcycle parking too!

A 6-minute walk from JR Takayama Train Station, 力車イン Rickshaw inn offers non-smoking Japanese rooms and Western rooms with free Wi-Fi, an LCD TV and a private bathroom. A free-use kitchen is on site. The room was very big and comfortable. The location was perfect too, so close to the main sights Takayama has to offer. It was also very cool in the room, we didn't even need AC when it was still very hot outside.

Located in Nakatsugawa, さかのみち-sakanomichi features a shared lounge, restaurant, bar, and free WiFi throughout the property. This is the best place to stay in Magome. Beautiful accommodation, so relaxing, and the most wonderful hosts, Yuki-san and Ken-san. They looked after us like family and the food was so delicious too. Definitely the best place we've ever stayed in Japan.
