The location is a little far away from the main JR station/ meitetsu station but there are so many public transport lines all around the area. The host was also very kind to offer a pick up and drop off service when I arrived and when I left. The hosts were very kind, warm, and welcoming. Their animals were all very cute, especially the dog. The dorm room is only shared with another person and there is a large common area in the room as well as lockers with locks if needed. There is also a living room area and a fully equiped kitchen. The showers and toilets were all spotlessly clean and the water pressure and temperature was perfect. I highly recommend this guesthouse and will stay again if I visit again!

We stayed for one night during the Takayama festival as a couple but it can accommodate more guests. The open-air bath was fun and easy to use with privacy.

Kenda, the owner was very nice and helpful arranging our accomodation. House was equiped with kitchen aminities with spices, juice and drinks. There was washing machine with dryer with enough amount of detergent capsules. This helped us to wash and dry our cloths.

מקום האירוח Guest House HINATA - Japanese House with Sauna and Open-air Bath מציע ג'קוזי, ונמצא ממש במרכז טקיאמה. Everything was amazing. The owner was responsive and friendly. Checking in and out were a breeze. The house is extremely clean and spacious. There is an outdoor tub for you to soak in as you enjoy the crisp air, and a sauna to sweat it out if you decide to. There are crockery, cooking utensils, and even drip coffee equipment if you choose to make your own food and drinks. We came in winter and the place was sufficiently warmed with 3 heaters, one in the living room and two on the second floor. There was even an Atari console to play with! The house is located within walking distance from the main shopping and eating district. Would definitely stay here again if we're back in the area!
