If you stay in a shared room, you will have your own compartment, so you don't have to worry about privacy. If you want to eat something, you can buy some snacks in the guesthouse or go to the convenience stores or restaurants around. Also, you can rent a bike in the guesthouse (100 yens per hour) to go to the beach or somewhere else. I recommend using a bike because the taxis are too expensive and there seemed to be only one bus to go to the beach.

Central location, there is bus from the city center going to the train station. Quiet and clean, definitly a good value for money.
