Set within 14 km of Fukuoka Yahuoku! Dome and 15 km of Fukuoka Tower, 泊まる寿司屋一力 Sushi house offers rooms with air conditioning and a shared bathroom in Itoshima. The place is run by an a couple- Yoshi-san and Nao-san. They were amazing!! On my first day Nao-san took all of the guests (3) to sakurai futamigaura and then we had an amazing sushi dinner with Yoshi-san that was full of amazing wholsome surprises... On my last day we drove the three of us around Itoshima, climbed Mt Tateishi together and drove to Raizansennyoji Taihioin. They never asked for money, they were the most kind and generous people. This was the best hotel experience of my life! Nothing but great things to say, If you are looking to go to Itoshima (and you should) defitnetly visit the Sushi House. Nao-san, Yoshi-san, ありがとうございます!!!!

Offering a shared lounge and quiet street view, Itosima Guesthouse TOMO is situated in Itoshima, 19 km from Fukuoka Tower and 19 km from Fukuoka Castle. It is set 18 km from Fukuoka Yahuoku! It was a dormitory and I was worrying about the noise. But it was very quiet at night and lights were turned off by the staff at 11pm, which was nice. I was able to sleep well. The location is walkable from the station. Neighborhood is quiet. There was a map showing shops and restaurants nearby at the guesthouse. The owner kindly told us a vegetarian dinner option (an udon restaurant which opens till late, just 5min walk from the guesthouse). Luggage storage after checkout was also possible.

Located within less than 1 km of Aeon Tobata Shopping Center and a 18-minute walk of Catholic Tobata Church, Nostime lodge 女性限定 female only provides rooms with air conditioning and a shared bathroom... I really enjoyed that this located inside a little neighborhood so you get all the charms and experience of living in Japan like a local. The owner is super nice and I loved talking to her about my plans and other things, (I personally just enjoy when the owners are interested in giving recommendations about what to do or are just interested in getting to know their clients) It’s about a 10minute walk from the station (although keep in mind it is up a little hill if you are walking with a heavy bag from the station) which I like since at night it’s very quiet and easy to sleep since there are no cars racing by at night. The convenience stores are also about a 8 to 10minute walk away, but the fridge has been nicely separated so you know you have room to put your items in the fridge( if you don’t want to walk to the convenience store every morning to get coffee and food). I ended up utilizing the fridge more than I expected since I don’t usually use the fridges in large hostels since I tend to forget what food is mine if I can’t see my items. I recommend what I did which is to remember when I was walking back from the station at night to grab coffee and food at 7-eleven, so I could have a longer sleep-in in the morning.

They warmly helped to make sightseeing plan and gave us both lifts to pick us up to the station late at night and bring us to the station in the morning.

Offering a garden and garden view, 柳川ゲストハウス 憩 (IKOI) is set in Yanagawa, 19 km from Yoshinogari Historical Park and 33 km from Hirayama Hot Spring. Joe's warmth and hospitality were exceptional. He gave us local recommendations for the hot springs and food in the area, which were both really good. He made us a delicious breakfast each day, which was very hearty, and we enjoyed the conversations with him throughout our stay. The beds were exceptionally comfortable, and the room spacious. The quality of linen gave us both a great night's sleep.

The location is close to the station, with many restaurants nearby and close to tourist attractions. The rooms are spacious and comfortable.

Open from May 2021, the Comfort Inn Fukuoka Tenjin is located 300 metres from Inter Media Station IMS Building. Nishitetsu Fukuoka (Tenjin) Station and Nakasu are 4 minutes on foot from the property. So close to the subway. But need to carry all the luggages to climb many stairs to exit from subway. My favourite convenience shop Lawson is nearby. The river and the walking street are nearby too! So many good restaurants can be found there. Staffs are so nice and helpful! Our room was big, the biggest that never seen in Japan! Room was clean and beds were comfortable. Our room type has bathtub and we enjoyed baths almost every night! Coffee machine nears the reception, it was so lucky that we could have a hot coffee while going out to wind. Overall we enjoyed so much staying here! Would like to come back again!
