The apartment is very comfortable, clean, well equipped (has a kitchenette with all types of utensils), and has the best view to the Hakata Beach! The owners are very friendly and offered delicious welcome drink made with local citrus syrup. The apartment is a few minutes walk to the inter-island bus stop and across from the bicycle rental center, making it easily accessible. One night stay was too short... a minimum two nights would have been much better! Definitely coming back here again.

Situated just 26 km from Mishima Shrine, ゲストハウス 西村サイクル（24C） features accommodation in Izume with access to a garden, a shared lounge, as well as a shared kitchen. The host was so friendly and accommodating. we wished we had stayed here for more than a day. The kids were so attracted to the Atari TV game console and it brought back such fond memories for us. House was super clean and modern, and well equipped. we loved the comfort of sleeping on plush futons in the tatami bedrooms. Unit was only 3 minutes from a huge super mart. Highly recommended.

OMISHIMA SPACE Omoya has mountain views, free WiFi and free private parking, set in Imabari, 30 km from Oogamiyama Omoto Shrine. The place is BEAUTIFUL. They really did a good job rebuilding a Japanese traditional style home which is also quite modern at the same time. Common areas and the rooms are well taken care of. Everything was perfectly clean and both the bathrooms and the kitchen are fully furnished and very comfortable to use. The staff is also very helpful when needed, even if they might not be at the reception all the time.

The lady that owned the house was lovely! She went out of her way to make us feel welcome. We really appreciated her booking us into a restaurant in the area and telling us about the local onsen. I'm sorry this review has come so late!

Everything. If you are planning on cycling the Shimanami Kaido (and even if you aren’t!) I’d highly recommend taking a detour from the main route and spending some time here.

Super kind and friendly owner, who could recommend very good information of travel in DOGO and the location is very convenient.

Located within 17 km of Henjou-in Temple and 18 km of Kawara Museum, Cyclo No Ie provides rooms with air conditioning and a shared bathroom in Imabari. I spent one night at Cyclo-no-Ie. Everything was perfectly clean, I stayed in a dorm which slept 4 females and at night it was very quiet and comfortable. The innkeeper was very friendly and helpful and spoke English. When I asked for restaurant recommendation, he suggested "Kabuki", a family-run sushi restaurant which I loved. The hostel is a couple of minutes away from the train station on foot. I highly recommend it. Great value for money!

Strolling through the little harbour town Mitsu is lovely and the train will take you in 15 mins to downtown Matsuyama.

A beautiful cosy japanese house in a beautiful valley perfect for a group of friends or a family. Wonderful owners who were super friendly. They clean the bathtub everyday, tell everything about the area of things to do, let you rent the grill or other things, and then they even gave us some free vegetables from a nearby farm.
