Beautiful building, super clean, and pretty much exactly halfway on the Shimanami Kaido. One of the best beds we had in our 1 month in Japan. Owners are very nice and are former travellers. Lawson station 5 minutes cycle towards the cycle path.

Guesthouse Farmor - Vacation STAY 15083v asub Imabaris, 37 km kaugusel Senkoji templist, 38 km kaugusel MOU Onomichi linnaülikooli kunstimuuseumist ja Jodoji templist. Kohapeal on tasuta eraparkla. The host was incredibly kind and picked us up for the local onsen and to the bike station! The tatami, futon and sliding walls were a highlight of our Japan visit

This is a beautiful traditional Japanese guest house on the island of Yuge. We spent a night here while biking the Shimanami Kaido trail. Yas, our host, was super kind and helpful. Fully equipped kitchen with free coffee and tea. Nice shower. Towels can be rented for 100 yen and laundry machine use for 100 yen as well. Very comfortable tatami beds. Close to a very good izakaya restaurant for dinner as well!

The host was a very warm and kind individual. Would love to come back just to talk to him more. He was super helpful and me figuring out where to go once I found out the Dogo Onsen was under construction and fully booked. Which to be honest, was confusing as I think the Dogo Onsen website specifically mentions there are no reservations. Location was perfect, literally around the corner from Dogo Onsen, a few other onsens and the shopping area with good souvenir/clothes shops and good restaurants.

Cyclo No Ie asub Imabaris, 17 km kaugusel Henjou-ini templist ja 18 km kaugusel Kawara muuseumist. Tubades on konditsioneer ja ühine vannituba. A lot of cozy common spaces. We got oranges from the owner’s garden for free for breakfast. Cafe options are also very good, I highly recommend the strawberry smoothie there. Location is perfect, right at Imabari station, bike rental and bus station. Staff was very sweet.

敷島旅館, a property with a garden and a shared lounge, is set in Saijo, 31 km from Henjou-in Temple, 32 km from Kawara Museum, as well as 32 km from Kawaranofurusato Park. The home-cooked dinners, and the pleasant atmosphere of the ryokan. The hostesses were most gracious and friendly, they made you feel at home.

I loved the space it has. The rooms are very clean and fresh. It is actually a whole Japanese house with beautiful details, you really feel like being a local - the owner has a great sense of detail. You can see it in the clean tatami floor. The owner can also be reached at any time which is very nice. The parking space was also a great bonus. Ah, its on walking distance from the Dogo Onsen and has a supermarket around the corner (the owner even has suggestions written down where to eat and go to) - all in all a perfect place should you want to stay in Matsuyama
