Hótel is small but all facilities are quite new and modern. The shared kitchen has new kitchenware and very convenient compared to other hotels that shared kitchen provided very old and not so clean kitchenware. It is located in remote area so it is quite peaceful and beautiful scenic view. We are happy there is very good warm pool nearby. The pool is cozy and not crowded at all.

We had to book last minute due to weather conditions and we were very warmly welcomed. The guesthouse is very clean and quiet, the room was warm, the shower had amazing water pressure. The kitchen was quite spacious with enough appliances to prepare a breakfast. The location was great to explore Stykkisholmus and the peninsula.

Comfortable with plenty of room, well equipped, good WIFI (as always in Iceland), friendly hostess, nice little shop and fuel a couple of hundred metres away, easy access, and a nice area.

This was our favorite place by far of our entire trip. The living room was spacious and we had a beautiful direct view of kirkjufell. The couches and beds were so comfortable and the tv had cable which was a welcomed surprise. The kitchen was modern and we were able to cook a full meal. It was well stocked with things like oil and spices which you might not buy.

Located 6 km from Stykkishólmur, Helgafell provides a garden and free WiFi. All rooms feature a flat-screen TV with cable channels and a private bathroom. The place is a part of the Helgafell, which is a mountain top with significance in the Norse mythology. The house is neat and clean with very helpful owner. The highlight is definitely Morley, the host's dog who is so friendly that he not only visited us during the night and morning but actually accompanied us,together with another black Labrador, when we hiked the Helgafell hill. All these made a very special and warm stay.

Free WiFi and free private parking are available on site. - If you're looking to stay and share moments with a true icelandic family, don't hesitate to book here! We had some great discussions at the breakfast (which was pretty basic but enough). - The house is located on a farm full of sheep which was nice to look at, at all times - The bathroom was clean - The kitchen is very well equipped with everything u might need to heat meals or cook them - The shared space was good (although we were the only ones there that night, so we kind of enjoyed the whole house for ourserlves)
