The shared kitchen has new kitchenware and very convenient compared to other hotels that shared kitchen provided very old and not so clean kitchenware. It is located in remote area so it is quite peaceful and beautiful scenic view. We are happy there is very good warm pool nearby. The pool is cozy and not crowded at all.

We had to book last minute due to weather conditions and we were very warmly welcomed. The guesthouse is very clean and quiet, the room was warm, the shower had amazing water pressure. The kitchen was quite spacious with enough appliances to prepare a breakfast. The location was great to explore Stykkisholmus and the peninsula.

This was our favorite place by far of our entire trip. The living room was spacious and we had a beautiful direct view of kirkjufell. The couches and beds were so comfortable and the tv had cable which was a welcomed surprise. The kitchen was modern and we were able to cook a full meal. It was well stocked with things like oil and spices which you might not buy.

Helgafell ligt op 6 km van Stykkishólmur en biedt een tuin en gratis WiFi. Alle kamers beschikken over een flatscreen-tv met kabelzenders en een eigen badkamer. The place is a part of the Helgafell, which is a mountain top with significance in the Norse mythology. The house is neat and clean with very helpful owner. The highlight is definitely Morley, the host's dog who is so friendly that he not only visited us during the night and morning but actually accompanied us,together with another black Labrador, when we hiked the Helgafell hill. All these made a very special and warm stay.

Het Saudafell Guesthouse biedt accommodatie in Sauðafell, op een schapenboerderij die wordt beheerd door een familie. Het lokaal contact met de mensen. Het is een huisje met authentieke inrichting met veel charme. Er is een grote keuken waar je zelf eten kan maken (verder ook niet veel in de buurt dus eigen eten maken of iets meebrengen is aan te raden). Gezellige woonkamer, nieuwe badkamer en heel comfortabele bedden.
