Everything was exceed my expectation. Elsa is a super host. All the rooms was clean, comfy and lively decorated. The kitchen is very big and my group of 9 peoples can stay together in there. The dogs and cat are very friendly. Elsa baked bread for every guest and that was awesome.

Finnstaðir has barbecue facilities and a garden. A hot tub is available for guests. Free WiFi is offered. All units at the guest house are equipped with a seating area and a TV. the house exceeded our expectations! we could feel hospitality of the owners in each detail. we had plenty of space, fully equiped kitchen and even hot tub available. animals of the farm were super cute. thx a lot!

Overlooking Lake Lagarfljót, this guest house is 5 minutes’ drive from central Egilsstadir. All rooms include free WiFi access, a fridge and a private bathroom with shower. It was our last guesthouse in Iceland, and our favorite. It is a lovely new and modern place with large, clean rooms, private bathrooms and a well equipped shared kitchen. You can park by the front door and there are no stairs to climb. Pricewise it was one of the best deals we had during the trip.

The breakfast served each morning was nothing short of delicious. Every bite was a treat, clearly prepared with care and attention to detail. The hosts joined us for some delightful conversations that truly enhanced our mornings. Their charm and kindness were the perfect start to each day. The guesthouse itself was impeccably clean, reflecting the hosts' dedication to providing a comfortable stay. The surrounding area was calm and beautiful, offering a escape of everyday life. They had three lovely sheeps that we were allowed to pet, which was a lovely experience. Overall, our stay at this guesthouse was exceptional. We wholeheartedly recommend it to everyone seeking a welcoming and peaceful retreat.
