Featuring a restaurant and cafe on site, Blabjorg Resort is in the fishing village of Borgarfjordur Eystri, 71 km from Egilsstadir. I reserved gesthouse rooms with shared bathroom (because no other room left) and I had my doubts. But the reality exceeded my expectations. Small but cozy room, comfortable bad, linens, towels like in 5* hotel, bath rooms are like 5*hotel too. In addition, you have a shared kitchen. Instead, we tryed the hotel restaurant and enjoyed it very much. The spa is superb!!! Don't miss it! We had a discount for spa about 17%. Sea view was wonderful, like TV with wild sea life podcast just outside your windows. Lots of seabirds! Puffings lookout just 5 min drive away.

Elsa is a super host. All the rooms was clean, comfy and lively decorated. The kitchen is very big and my group of 9 peoples can stay together in there. The dogs and cat are very friendly. Elsa baked bread for every guest and that was awesome.

Jõevaatega Hjartarstaðir Guesthouse pakub terrassiga majutust umbes 37 km kaugusel Gufufossist. Hommikusöögiga majutusasutusel on privaatne sissepääs. We loved how clean it was and the attention to details. The space was better than the pictures. Loved it!

Set in a characteristic wooden house, Við Lónið Guesthouse is an accommodation in Seyðisfjörður. This should be one of the most comfortable hotels I've stayed at during this trip. The stunning lake and mountain views are truly exceptional, and it's also conveniently close to the famous little church. I even had the privilege of witnessing the Northern Lights while enjoying a beer on the balcony at night. I believe everyone should definitely not miss this place. By the way, The apartment host is super friendly.

Lagarfell Studios asub Hengifossist 37 km kaugusel. Kohapeal on terrass ja aed. Terrassiga majutusasutuses on tasuta eraparkla ja tasuta WiFi-ühendus. We were really happy with the studio. It looks much better than in the pictures. The location is very convenient, near the main road and not far from town. The kitchenette is fully equipped, even with coffe pods, milk, tea... The room is large and comfortable, as the bathroom. Comfrotable beds, tv with netflix and other streaming services.

Curry house rooms asub Seyðisfjörðuris. Terrassiga majutusasutuses on tasuta eraparkla ja tasuta WiFi-ühendus. Mittesuitsetajatele mõeldud majutusasutus jääb Gufufossist 3,9 km kaugusele. We liked the location and that we had coffee/tea available for us to enjoy.

Hiljuti renoveeritud külalistemaja Fljótsdalsgrund asub Valþjófsstaðuris, 7,9 km kaugusel Hengifossist. Kohapeal on aed ja mäevaated. Külalistemaja asub Kirkjufossist 42 km kaugusel. The staff was helpfull and kind. Very good breakfast

Fjalladýrð Guesthouse asub Modrudaluris. Kohapeal on ühine puhkeruum. Kohapeal on baar ja einestamisvõimalus. Mäevaatega majutusasutusel on laste mänguväljak. Absolutely wonderful place to stay at. Pastoral surroundings and breathtaking landscapes. The house itself was so cosy and clean that we enjoyed every single moment of staying there, especially the black sheep who was wandering around the house adding more authenticity to the place.
