I highly recommend staying on this houseboat for anyone looking to enjoy a unique and peaceful experience on Dal Lake. It's a perfect retreat from the hustle and bustle of everyday life.

The homestay is 49 km from Roza Bal Shrine. Imtiyaz was an excellent host, providing excellent advice on local trekking, including day and multi day hikes in the area. He organised all permits, and sorted donkeys and supplies at a reasonable price on arrival. Do not book from Srinigar or Delhi, go direct. Imtiyaz's house was clean and comfortable, with an excellent guest room and food, and a lovely balcony.
