Great location - near the bus stop/taxi office and super close to all the shops etc that Diskit has to offer (30 minute walk to the Monastery - highly recommend visiting). The building in itself is beautiful, and has really good views of the surrounding mountains. Our room was large, with large windows (nice and airy). The food was all delicious and the hosts were super attentive + kind. Overall I'd say very good value for money considering how well you will be looked after!
Padma and family really helped to make the best of a bad situation for us. My partner fell ill as we arrived and as a result wasn't able to leave the room. Padma and her parents were very attentive checking on us regularly to see if we needed anything - they brought breakfast, lunch + dinner to the room for us, and were dutifully concerned about my partner, and helpful with directions to hospital when that became necessary.

A place in Paradise with a great staff. I spend 7 days in Nubra Ecolodge and I felt like at home. Surrounded by fantastic landscape, the place is quiet and calm. Abishek the manager is really kind and always ready to help. Food is delicious. Will come back for sure.

1. Location and view - awesome uninterrupted view of the sand dunes and mountains
2. People - Owner Mr.Salim is one of the best hosts I have ever met. He is a kind-hearted person who took us to show some of the local places around not known to tourists. Rarely someone does this for their guests.
3. Food and room - Considering the remoteness of the place, the room size, ambience took me by surprise. It indeed exceeded my expectations.
Our stay at Hunder Camp and Stay met our expectations. It was a quiet and clean homestay surrounded by beautiful nature and an exquisite garden, not too far from the Hunder sand dunes. The breakfast and dinner buffet were delicious with an affordable price.
