Each bedroom has a private shower room with personal toiletries, towels etc. All bedrooms have good storage, excellent beds - fully dressed, tv, hairdryer etc. The fully equipped kitchens have cookers, microwave, dolce gusto coffee machine, all utensils etc and washer-dryers. On arrival you will find tea/coffee, fresh milk, juice, cereals, condiments and homemade brown bread and cake. The room was very comfortable and the breakfast was excellent. Overall it was a very pleasant experience.

Guests at the guest house can enjoy a continental breakfast. Staying at Margaret's and Martin's Beach house was the gem of my solo trip. I arrived exhausted, needing a break from hiking, walking and staying at uncomfy places. Margaret was kind enough to pick me up from the bus and drove to the house. She even made me tea and dinner, and a delicious one, considering she is a chef ! I slept like a baby, the room is so comfy and quiet. The view on the beach is amazing too. Breakfast was really great, lots of handmade stuff ! Then Margaret drove me back to Clifden as she was going to work. We talked a lot, she was the warmest and I will be more than happy to visit her again !

Safe storage for bicycles is available, and there is a swimming pool and spa just a 2-minute walk away, and historic Kylemore Abbey is 8 km from the guesthouse. Inishbofin Island is 10 km away, accessible by the ferry. Very friendly staff, the ensuite room was very comfortable and clean, and the surroundings calm. I highly recommend the place for a trip to Connemara.
