We would like to thank the owner and his lovely staff for our stay at Juma cottages. The owner picked us up at the ferry pier and we were able to do some laundry, which was very handy. We loved the location on the shore of Lake Toba, the room was huge and extremely confortable with a great bed. Shower was separate from the toilet by a short wall, which is rare enough to be mentioned. The food was very good also (I will dream of the delicious guacamole taco) with a wide choice and freshly made. The garden was very well maintained just like in the picture :)

Set in Tuk Tuk in the Sumatra region, Toba Boi has a terrace and mountain views. With lake views, this accommodation offers a balcony. The property offers quiet street views. Stanza come nelle foto, pulita, ben illuminata e arieggiata, bagno con doccia calda e tazza con sciacquone (una rarità in Indonesia) e sufficienti ganci appendiabiti, saponetta e carta igienica sigillate (difficili da trovare in altre strutture) ed asciugamani puliti e in buono stato. Letto spazioso, materasso morbido. Al piano terra c’è una cucina con un pratico distributore d’acqua ed un chiosco con vari prodotti e bibite. Dong è molto simpatico e accogliente, l’ultimo giorno si è spontaneamente offerto di accompagnarmi gratuitamente al molo dei traghetti. Davvero gentile. La posizione è ottima per arrivare e partire in traghetto e godersi Tuk Tuk. Difronte, attraversando la strada, c’è TaTaring, un caffè- ristorante ottimo per colazione e cena con musica dal vivo giovedì e sabato. In relazione a ciò, è da tener presente che in alcune sere fino a circa mezzanotte la musica si sente anche in camera. Sono contento e soddisfatto di aver scelto Toba Boi.

A recently renovated guest house set in Tuk Tuk, Hub Tata Guesthouse features a garden. The property features lake views. In good weather, guests are welcome to sit outside. What a great sanctuary of a place and wonderful people! Nia, the Manager did all she could to welcome us and even stayed up late when we had unavoidable delays making us arrive well past check in. But the whole team are fantastic being attentive and responsive to our needs and requests with smiles at the ready. The inclusion of your choice of breakfast is fantastic and it was the nicest breakfast and cleanest accommodation we had in our month on Sumatra We stayed for 5 nights but would have happily stayed longer. We had to move one night as they were full and stayed at Carolina Cottages but couldn’t wait to get back to a much more welcoming and flexible vibe at Hub Tata If you want peaceful lakeside spot and a lovely vibe with helpful good people and a delicious breakfast this is your place! The brownies are exceptional This was the only place completely full with people traveling, so it was easy to meet and socialize with other travelers Of course there are things to improve but the ratio between price and what you get for the price is excellent
