We would like to thank the owner and his lovely staff for our stay at Juma cottages. The owner picked us up at the ferry pier and we were able to do some laundry, which was very handy. We loved the location on the shore of Lake Toba, the room was huge and extremely confortable with a great bed. Shower was separate from the toilet by a short wall, which is rare enough to be mentioned. The food was very good also (I will dream of the delicious guacamole taco) with a wide choice and freshly made. The garden was very well maintained just like in the picture :)

Toba Boi ligger i Tuk Tuk i Sumatra-regionen og har terrasse og bjergudsigt. Denne feriebolig har balkon med udsigt over søen. Ejendommen har en rolig gadeudsigt. I liked everything about my stay here, the bed was really comfy and shower hot... Really good value for money... Mr Dong and his wife were amazing hosts and made me feel like home, we spent a lot of time together, hung out and had a good time! See you in 10 years...

Hub Tata Guesthouse er et nyrenoveret pensionat i Tuk Tuk og har have. Ejendommen har udsigt over søen. Når vejret tillader det, kan gæsterne sidde udenfor. What a great sanctuary of a place and wonderful people! Nia, the Manager did all she could to welcome us and even stayed up late when we had unavoidable delays making us arrive well past check in. But the whole team are fantastic being attentive and responsive to our needs and requests with smiles at the ready. The inclusion of your choice of breakfast is fantastic and it was the nicest breakfast and cleanest accommodation we had in our month on Sumatra We stayed for 5 nights but would have happily stayed longer. We had to move one night as they were full and stayed at Carolina Cottages but couldn’t wait to get back to a much more welcoming and flexible vibe at Hub Tata If you want peaceful lakeside spot and a lovely vibe with helpful good people and a delicious breakfast this is your place! Vandu's View Guest House & Restaurant ligger i Tuk Tuk og tilbyder indkvartering med opholdsområde. Der er restaurant på stedet, gratis privat parkering og gratis wi-fi. Everything was excellent! Best thing about this hotel are the views. Once you open the door of your room, you’re greeted by an impressive view of Lake Toba. It appears to be a new hotel, so the room and furnishings were new and clean. Location was fantastic as well. The hotel is right next to the water, so the ferry from Parapat can drop you off right at the hotel pier and pick you up from the same place. There are great restaurants nearby. I strongly recommend Coffee 2 Go across the street for breakfast and coffee, and Rosalie’s Beer Garden and Restaurant a 5-min walk away for lunch and dinner. Staff is friendly and helpful, though not all of them speak English.

Romlan er et 3-stjernet pensionat, som ligger ud til strandpromenaden i Tuk Tuk. Der er privat strandområde, have og privat parkering. The location is perfect. The boat stops at the property. The private beach is perfect and the location in the village also. The services and the food is great and good priced. They bake their owns sweets and bread. The brownies are exceptional This was the only place completely full with people traveling, so it was easy to meet and socialize with other travelers Of course there are things to improve but the ratio between price and what you get for the price is excellent

Laster Jony's ligger i Tuk Tuk og har udsigt til haven, have, grillfaciliteter og fælles opholdsstue. Ejendommen har udsigt over bjergene og søen. Everything. It was a rugged location with the lake and sunset at your doorstep. You can wake up to the sound of the waves and it was quite peaceful. But perhaps the best thing about them is the hospitality, and their FOOD. I tried various different restaurants from my stay at Tuktuk and nothing came close to the food made by Hamlet and Rita at Laster Jony's. It felt like coming back home from a long day of travelling. Definitely try their veggie and cheese omelette, fried rice, and mixed fruit pancake 😍.

The homestay and especially the garden is so beautiful! It’s directly at the lake and just a 2 minute walk from the ferry!
