The host is so helpful and accomodating since we arrived pretty late. He help with instructions and good advice. The breakfast was amazing and the room/bathroom very modern and comfortable. We loved it!

Runa Guest House has garden views, free WiFi and free private parking, situated in Twatt, 13 km from Ring of Brogdar. Big spaces in a very quiet place. Many breakfast food given. Nothing was missing in the kitchen and in the bathrooms. The host give us an extra room for free.

Set in Kirkwall and only 17 km from Maeshowe, Bellavista Guest House offers accommodation with garden views, free WiFi and free private parking. The Bellavista was the perfect clean and cozy homebase for us during our Stay in Orkney. The rooms were really comfortable and Sandra the owner was very helpful and generous in letting us check in early and use the laundry facilities. It’s also a great location looking over the water and within walking distance to town. Thanks for a great stay!

Karrawa Guest House is set in the town of Kirkwall, less than 1 mile from the town centre and within 2.5 miles of the airport and ferry terminal. Fiona and Colin were brilliant hosts. The breakfasts are fresh and cooked to order, along with a wide selection of cereals and juices. Our room was spotless and roomy, with a big closet for hanging up rain-dampened clothes. It’s a 20-minute walk to the centre of Kirkwall, or a 6£ cab ride if you’re coming back from the pubs. There is ample parking on the property.

The Ferry Inn offers 30 rooms spread across four buildings in Stromness, and is located 6 miles from the UNESCO Neolithic Heart of Orkney. Lovely clean room, comfy beds, great food in restaurant. Good breakfast

Located in Saint Margarets Hope, 40 km from Maeshowe, Murray Arms Hotel and Seafood Restaurant, Orkney provides accommodation with a garden, free private parking, a terrace and a restaurant. I loved the hotel, my room, the location, and the manager, Suzanne, and her staff. The hotel was minutes away from the ferry to Gills Bay and yet so quiet and peaceful at night. I was sad to leave.
