We stayed in the Plucking Room and the bed was SO COMFY! The room was very well equipped and everything was thought of. The hot tub was AMAZING and Liz was very helpful and accommodating! Really good quality breakfast ingredients and very tasty home made treats. The area is lovely with two really nice pubs down the road. We 100% recommend and already booked again.

The place was so lovely, clean, and the quality of everything was of the highest, we were really comfortable, bathrobes, thick towels, beer in the fridge (sadly we are both on a diet) Highest spec on everything really. We will certainly go back again, its just a few minutes walk outside of Hinckley town centre. Host was really welcoming and left us to our privacy, comfy sofa, easy to work tv, I could go on and on, really liked it a lot thank you

Free private parking is provided and Twycross Zoo is less than 5 minutes’ drive away. Donnington Park racing circuit and Drayton Manor Theme Park can both be reached after a 20-minute drive. Birmingham city centre is just 30 minutes’ drive from The Appleby Inn. the breakfast was very good, the service was very friendly, our wishes were fulfilled, the dinner in the restaurant is recommended

Clean, comfortable, great mirror in the bathroom! Heaters were on when I got into to the room so it was lovely and warm!

With freshly cooked food and a selection of real ales, The Star Inn dates back to the 18th century. It is situated in Thrussington, a charming village on the River Wreake, and offers free Wi-Fi throughout. We had the ground floor room. Quiet, very spacious, huge bathroom. Would highly recommend
