The quintessential English pub in a quintessential village. Food was fantastic; hosts excellent; rooms were lovely; bed comfy and all the facilities working well. Worth the slightly higher cost for the overall experience.

The room was comfy. Love the walk-in shower. I also appreciate the extra effort from the owners in helping me to find lost property! Thanks so much. We would recommend this accommodation.

Rachael is a superb host. This was my second stay there. Last year I was alone, this year I travelled with my Mom. I asked Rachael if she could arrange an extra bed for me so that my Mom could sleep in the Queen bed and she put a superbly comfortable single bed into the room for me. It was perfect for my Mom and I. The room is always clean, and Rachael always makes sure there are little treats. The one day when it was exceptionally hot, we arrived back with Pizza and Rachael allowed us to sit in the back garden and she brought us an ice cold pitcher of juice. On another day, she delivered freshly baked fruit scones to our door - which were absolutely delicious. I would highly recommend Hanson House to anyone that finds themselves in Hinckley. We spent 11 nights there. Thank you to Rachael for making it a wonderful stay.

Located just 1-mile from the M42 motorway, The Appleby Inn Hotel is set in rural Derbyshire in the village of Appleby Parva. The staff were all very good. Attention to to detail. Friendly and nothing to much trouble. Room very clean. Lovely food in the restaurant. Will definitely stay there again.

Jaimee was really helpful and accommodating, room was clean and very comfortable. The location is excellent, a short walk into town, and very close to the university. We would definitely stay here again.

Stayed here before...2nd time at the Cedars. Once again...could not fault it. Clean, tidy, excellent wifi and facilities. Very friendly and professional host. AWESOME cooked breakfast in the morning. Hands down the best B&B in the area!!

With freshly cooked food and a selection of real ales, The Star Inn dates back to the 18th century. We had the ground floor room. Quiet, very spacious, huge bathroom. Would highly recommend
