Within walking distance to all eating places. If you want to eat in, make sure to book well in advance. Otherwise take your meal to the guest house, they provide plate and cutlery.

Kilmeny features mountain views, free WiFi and free private parking, located in Ballygrant. we were welcomed by Margaret who made sure we had some delicious freshly baked biscuits and cakes to enjoy after our ferry trip

A cozy, no-frills guest house within walking distance of three world class distilleries. Our host Niall was simply amazing. He and his family are incredibly welcoming and you almost feel like you are part of the family. They will “get you sorted” with using the local buses, where to grab a bite, who to call for a taxi and whatever else you might be wondering about. Exceptional hosts. The distilleries were great but these fine people will be what we remember most fondly about our stay on Islay.

Everyone and everything was first rate. Emma and Graham were warm and accommodating. Breakfasts were superb and the seafood platter was excellent. Highly recommended. Would visit again.
