Situated in Lamlash and only 800 metres from Lamlash Beach, Monamore Guest House features accommodation with sea views, free WiFi and free private parking. Emily was an amazing host where nothing was any trouble. She had decorated her rooms with the utmost care and consideration for the traveller. The room was super-sized and very comfortable. She was also so kind to do some laundry for us for a small fee. Breakfast was super and a good selection. Looking out the back at the birds and the red squirrels was an added bonus.

Oakbank Farm, a property with a garden, a tennis court and barbecue facilities, is set in Lamlash, 11 km from Brodick Castle, Garden and Country Park, 25 km from Machrie Moor Standing Stones, as well... Lovely little apartments with everything one might need for a cozy stay on the edge of town but still within a short drives distance of everything.

Our stay at the Burlington was truly exceptional! The manager Duncan and his staff were so warm and friendly we instantly felt relaxed here and we felt like this throughout our entire stay. Our room was immaculately clean, well presented with all modern facilities and very cosy. The bed was very comfortable and we had a wonderful nights sleep. A good variety of breakfast options was available and the standard of the food is incredible! Everything was prepared perfectly and the combination of great service and wonderful views made for a great breakfast experience. We decided to have our evening meals in Duncan’s Restaurant every night because of the excellence of the food. Highlighting local products and good portion size we always left the restaurant full and happy. Duncan would come out and chat with us giving us some advice on what to see and do on the Island and he was so friendly and helpful. He saved us 2 beers from a local brewery so that we could have it the next night. Anything that Duncan and his team could do to make our stay better they would do happily for you. We will definitely stay here again.
