Facing the beachfront in Puumala, Villa Saimaan Sydän features a shared lounge and a garden. From the lovely garden you can find a barbecue/fire place to enjoy. Private parking is for free. only a short walk from bus station and supermarket, great accomodation, such helpful and friendly hosts, felt like home. Thanks Marika and Janne! Wanha Neuvola Questhouse was originally built in 1948, and freshly renovated in 2014. This guest house is located in the Pieksämäki town centre and offers free WiFi and parking to guests. Heart warm welcome after a loooong journey, the location is just perfect in the city center and you can reach easily every point in Pieksämäki. The Rooms are giving that feeling of beeing home as you would stay at home. Everyone inside of this guesthouse is soo friendly and helpfull you can easily talk over hours. It was just a hard time to leave after the short holiday. I will stay here again Thank you very much

Idyllic upstairs apartment with two bedrooms nằm ở Joensuu với khu vườn và Wi-Fi miễn phí ở toàn bộ chỗ nghỉ. Everything was absolutely spectacular. It was one of the cosiest places we've ever stayed in, and it truly felt like home for the three nights that we spent there. There were so many things that were free to use whilst we were there too, which was very rare! Coco, the dog, was there to greet us too. Very cute! It was especially convenient that we had access to bicycles too, and everything in Joensuu was within a good distance to the apartment. If you like pizza, I ate the best pizza I've ever eaten in Finland at Pauliina Pizzeria, just a few minutes away. Hope to come back again! Kiitos hyvin paljon.

The whole town is in the middle of nowhere, even by Finnish standards. But then again, this is probably the appeal :) There is a train stop though on the Helsinki-Kuopio-Oulu line for Paltamo, which is about a 10 minute walk prom the property. There are big stores and a petrol station too nearby, and of course the river and the lake, which are beautiful. You can swim too, if you want. The property is a large and fairly luxurious private home by appearance, divided into some private bedrooms and generously large common areas, like kitchen and bathroom. All very clean at the time of my visit.

Located by Lake Onkivesi, 12 km from Alapitkä, is the Jokiniemen Matkailu guesthouse. We loved that our room in this cosy B&B had a stunning lake view, a patio to enjoy it from and a very nice and modern bathroom. No noise and a lot of nature. Friendly owners. We hope to come back some time.

Located by the Kuopio Train Station, this bed and breakfast offers free WiFi, cafeteria and in-site small shop. TVs are featured in all rooms at Veturi B&B. A private bathroom is also included. this was like a time warp from the 1950s in every way - music played, friendliness and approachability of staff, service, everything. Even the fact that they were essentially "closed" on sunday. if you want to travel back in time but not compromise on comfort go to cafe asema.

The inside of house is lovely. Excellent terrace and inner yard. We didn't try sauna on the lake, but sure it would be great.

The staff were really friendly and ready to help with anything. We got straight to the sauna in the evening. They were also ready to make lunch if needed.

Located in Joensuu, Matkamaja features a garden, BBQ facilities and free WiFi. Staff on site can arrange a shuttle service. Some parking spaces with heating are available in the winter time. Yes, I like behaviour of staff and also breakfast 🥞.
